Over Easter Weekend I bought a new putter for my daughter who had previously been using an old cut down mallet type putter. The new putter was a nice shiny new Fazer Contender, 33" shaft, nice balance etc. My daughter was delighted with her new putter, as was I considering I had a £10 off voucher which went towards it.

My wife had the usual cursory glance and a wee waggle of it and stated that she would give it a try in her first competition. This she did and yesterday it was used to good effect in a singles match. Guess whos bag it is now hidden in?

So today, my daughter and I had a return visit to AG to source another one, only this time I didn't have the £10 voucher, OUCH !

Still my daughter is happy again, she's got another new putter, my wife is putting better with the original new putter so all is well in our household at the moment.

Have to agree, do not think I have ever walked into a golf shop without coming out with something even if it is just tees or balls.Well done for a supreme example of willpower.

being laid up with a slipped disc I have been perusing the golfing retailers online for days now. Think I have been really good to have managed to hold off for 5.5 days until today when I couldn't resist the deal Onlinegolf are offering on last years Adidas tour 360 II shoes so went for those and a dozen Z-URC balls.
Naughtily attempted a few chips in the garden earlier, everything still pretty tender though so gotta be careful. :p
