Winter Olympics 2022

Very naive of you! Why do think Russia, in its entirety was/is banned?

She shouldn't be banned until her guilt is established at an appropriate hearing result.
Athletes are usually provisionally banned after a positive A sample. It’s the Russian Federation which have cleared her to compete in the 1st place, which in my opinion they shouldn’t have.

I'm still waiting for the Snowball Fighting event to take place. That would be an epic event.

Individual or team. Or six on one like it used to be at school. Bonus events for hitting passers-by or some poor sod on a bike.

Actually not Olympic related but my school used to have an entrance road at the bottom of a hill. One year, a bunch of sixth formers threw a few buckets of water over the road at that corner on a freezing morning and then sat back laughing themselves silly at kids on bikes going flying on the fresh ice. There were bodies everywhere.

No it wasn't!!
The question that is yet to be answered is why the huge delay between the test result and notification - approaching 2 months?!

Looked like we were always just behind and hoping for a mistake which never came. Damned fine effort though.

With the exception of the team from USA it seems a pre-requisite of curling is to be very attractive! Bruce and Eve have the most piercing blue eyes...maybe it's all those hours on the ice :-)

Russia unfortunately isn’t banned, it’s just allowed to competent under a different flag. The competitors are still Russian
Wrong! Russia IS banned!
It's the competitors that are allowed to compete under ROC 'flag'! To do so, they have to be Russian. It's Russian athletes that are 'not banned'!
Something of a copout, but the bureaucracy of responsibility/accountability require it that way.
FWIW, 2 Ukrainians have also failed tests!

Semantic, they are Russian, the ROC flag is a made up bit of cloth. They also have a far greater history of using banned substances.
