Willett doesnt want to play golf

Winning the masters has been a double edged sword for Willet. Beforehand no one really cared where he placed or how he did in events. Since winning the masters (Handed to him by Speiths' meldown IMHO) there has been an overwhelming expectation for him to perform at that level. Not only that he's just had a new baby and lets face it parents out there it's hard to juggle your job with a new child let alone being on tour and away from home (I do realise that having £££ in the bank does soften that, but we don't know how his family are coping either. Money can't buy emotional wellbeing.)

Every time I see Willets name in an event I can't but think Willet be another excuse for his bad play. Just an average player who went through a purple patch and was in the right place at the right time but now it's just back to normal golf for him missing cuts and full of excuses.

Got a lovely green jacket that every pro golfer wants and some of the best never get on top of a few other comp wins - so not bad for an average player.

I am glad you agree he us average.

But like a lot of people have said about that tournament he was just in the right place at the right time and picked up the spoils.

But hey ho fair play to him everyone needs a bit of luck in this game and that was his

Its his life, seems to be wasting his talent since the win, a bit like Sullivan had a great 2-3 years and like most go of the boil. The sign of a good player eg Westwood is to comeback stronger!

Not a fan but nobody has a right to be on tour, its a tough school and your soon forgotten.

Fantastic achievement to win the jacket. Most never will. However is he really putting the work in week in, week out and don't enter events if you retire after a round. You don't seem injured, pitching up the next week and so give the spot to someone that may need it to try and keep their card
