whats the most intimidating hole you have ever played and why?

Without a doubt the 16th at Cypress Point.

It's a 222 Yard par 3 with a 200 yard carry over the Pacific Ocean which is always into a strong sea breeze. Intimidatingly beautiful!

Why not just throw in the 12th at Augusta as it seems everyone is more interested in showing off where they've been or where they dreamt they've been. :(

The way I am playing at the moment, the first shot and hole tomorrow night down at my gaff. i dont think I have hit three good consecutive shots for about 6 weeks. :D :D :D

I put that hole because it is easily the most intimidating hole I have ever played. I promise you that if you had played it, you would put it down too.

sorry, should have put the 2nd hole of my local pitch and putt, its 90 yards down hill and theres always a bloke and his dog sat on the bench behind the tee, very nerve racking makes the 18th on the brabazon look easy :D

Good call on the Berkshire. I'd add the first at Ascot off the whites especially in a competition and then probably the 17th at St Andrews. In truth a lot of courses have real sleeper holes. Nothing little 350 yard par 4's that look innocent and somehow have a way of getting you to contrive a bogey or worse. These type of holes are the ones that worry me the most
