What would you pay for Kirkland "Costco" balls?

I'm a Costco member so I'll be grabbing a box or 2 when they land just out of curiosity if nothing else, but if they feel as good as what I play with currently in the summer which obviously cost me more money than these balls will, then it's a no brainer, isn't it?

I'm not averse to trying out new balls. Quite liked the performance of the Vice Pro plus, just put off a bit by the discolouration. If these perform as well as or better than my current ball then I'll use them but if they are even slightly worse I won't despite the cost saving.

They don't discolour(Vice). I used them for the first time at Blackmoor, the one I tee`d off with stayed white all the way to the OOB and maybe longer. I tee`d off again and that one stayed white all the way to around about the same spot. Same deal on the 2nd. I think all the ones I used that day stayed white.... :o :o

I thought I gave you 1 at Beau Desert?

I found that they did go a little dull, but, when I read that many people on here always start a comp with a new ball, then what's the issue, the slightly duller one's can then be played in roll ups or go into the practice/shag bag.

Used a discoloured pro plus today and shot 2 under gross so doesn't seem to alter performance  must have been its 5th round .

Not really no.

They will be selling directly to consumer rather than in other shops. Just like vice. But yeah you can't buy unless you have a membership so won't suit you paddy. Unless you want to pay a bit extra from ebay posts.

the reviews I have seen have all been comparing it to the Prov1

From what I have seen, it's a bit like the Vice comparison - it's construction that's comparable. 3 piece with Urethane cover, and with that will come similarcharacteristics but they will not be 1:1, as no ball on the market will be with each other. But, the Kirkland ball and the Vice Pro along with the Hex Chrome and a few others (FG Tour, Tour Preferred etc) are comparable in construction.

Guys a quick question how do you rate the Vice balls is it worth giving them a shot.

Personally I rate them highly Steve. Was using the Mizuno MP-S before (and sometimes the FG Tour) and I can't say I see much difference in performance. Spin nicely in to greens and are nice off the putter.
Maybe I am just not good enough to know the difference but if that's the case, why would I pay for ProVs if I can pay less for a ball that, to me, does and feels exactly the same. Can spare a couple of sleeves if you want to give them a bash?

No worries. Trial box has the Drive and Tour in it that you will likely never use. Drive is a hard distance ball, Tour is a 3 piece Ionomer covered ball not unlike the Srixon Trispeed. But if you are a tie ball user they won't do much for you.

Did the ball recommender and it came up the Pro version ,but i'll give the trial box ago and have a go with them.
