I am looking for your veterans advice! ;)
Its medal day tommorow. Supposed to be sunny with few clouds in the morning but in the after noon, chance of rain and thunderstorms with high wind!
I am teeing off at 1:20 !
Question is, how do i deal with it? What tactics should i use, i am relying on your expertice to make a sort of game plan! :D
Thanks !

Mate, playing golf in the rain is really miserable, I chuffing hate it. Umbrella up then down, wet gloves, wet grips. I can think of nothing worse. Take 2/3 towels in a plastic bag, for a glove a pair of snug fitting marigolds black if poss will keep your hands dry and stop the grips spinning in your hands. Good waterproofs are a must and a waterproof bucket hat is better than an umbrella.

Phone the club as early as possible and see if there are any early slots that have become available ;)

You can do whatever you like to try to keep everything dry but without a good caddy it is impossible if it rains continuously.

The key to playing in the rain is attitude, at least 1/2 to 3/4 of the field will be too wet, cold, miserable and annoyed to score well.

Just accept that it'll be a pain inthe arse and just try to get on with it. Club up and 3/4 swing will be helpful especially if in full waterproof. Oh, and take some break out of your putts as they won't break as much as usual.

Thanks!
Good advice so far!
Put it this way! I have an exam on monday, and golf is the best thing i have at the minute, rain or shine i will enjoy it, unless i play shite :)
