In the past I've given up alcohol for 40 days and nights, which has always been a stupid idea during the rugby season, especially during the 6 Nations. This year I'm giving up crisps and chocolate. What about everyone else?

I'm giving up giving things up and plan to eat chocolate and crisps until I pop and apply for The Biggest Loser :lol:

Actually I don't give up things for lent, never have done...

How about giving up peanut butter for lent? :)

Funnily enough I succumbed and bought a jar last week which still has some in it! So I've just had a post 18 holes delicious peanut butter on toast lunch. Guess that means it's too late to give it up now :whistle:

Might have it on pancakes later :thup:

I've heard a rumour they're bringing out a new peanut butter with a hint of chocolate :eek:

SunPat once did something just like that. It was stripes of peanut butter and stripes of chocolate spread and I ate it from the jar til I felt sick! Never dared to buy it again...

Nothing. The older I get the more I realise its pretty stupid to give up things I like. I'd rather make a point of giving more in Lent than giving up.

Giving up Peanut Butter sounds a great idea and one that should be easy to keep to.

COZ I HATE IT WITH A PASSION!!!!!!:ears::ears::ears:

Actually I've decided I'm going to give up Turkish Delight and Shellfish :whistle:
