Weekend Thread (3/4 march)

Playing regardless of weather, hardcore that I am.

Oddsocks make sure you take your wind proofs, you won't find many places to hide from the wind at AL, I played it end of Jan and the course was in fine nick then, driving range is a mat on a hillside though, literally.

Oh and I'd definately take out a buggy on
My next trip there, but you've got to walk a new course, surely?

Rain looks like its going through a bit quicker than was previously forecast so hope not to get too wet. Playing in a soceity at Old Thorns.

Teeing off at 9 at east horton today with some mates. Just got up now off to shower, check and clean the clubs and check all other gear. Going too be a macwets day!

I never use a buggy mate, god gave me feet and use them I shall. Got a nice new pro quip woollen wind sheeter...... That will do the job nicely

Woke up to heavy showers, as I type it has stopped but with thick cloud cover. Keeping my fingers crossed for it to clear by lunchtime ready for 1.11 tee off and then a stag night in Cheltenham this evening.

Raining here but going out at 12 or so.Last round of the winter league today, I'm winning but very close so could do with a good round :).Always seem to do well in bad weather so fingers crossed.

Heavy rain forecast, second round Mail on Sunday 5-man team match scheduled for Sunday morning which will have to go ahead as it's the last day possible to play the round.

After a glorious week of sunshine, i've woken up to grey skies and showers. Hopefully it will clear up but mother nature is really taking the micky out of the golf lovers around the country.

Weather for golf app states bright sunshine from lunchtime until 3 then light rain showers.

Went to the course this morning without realising there was a medal on, so only played 5 holes. Stopped raining here in Halifax so off back out at 1.30 for a plod around on my own :one:

Rain forcast tonight, but drying in the morning, course will be wet for tomorrow's opening year Texas scramble. As long as its not raining I can't wait to hit some balls!
