Weekend Stableford

Played in the stableford on Saturday. Bit breezy but a nice day. Came in with 31 points(6 blobs). Was hitting the ball generaly quite well. I think if I can keep hitting it this well it could be a good summer. Hopefully get the H/C (18) down a bit more.

Good shooting considering you only counted 12 holes. Looks good for 2009.

DTM if you are local you are more than welcome on 3rd April to the forum day at Ascot. There seem to be a few members around Oxford and outlying areas so maybe we can sort a game out.

That wasn't bad shooting for only 12 holes. How come you had 6 blobs. Was it poor driving or over ambition with recovery shots

Homer it was penalty drop on couple of holes then trying to force the next shot.A few wayward recovery shots after being out of positon. The one what hurt most tho was the par 4 14th SI2 .I was on the green in 3 and 4 putted. Cant remember the last time I did that. Theres always next time

Shame about the penalty shots. Put the 4 putt down to one of those things. If you can keep the ball in play off the tee a huge handicap cut must be around the corner
