Wedge selection help please

Best thing to do is to find a pro shop/retailer with a decent computer system in place, take your clubs and let them work out your yardages and see what will fit in best with your game and what you already have in the bag. I ended up dropping my 3 iron for another wedge to fill the gaps in yardage

Good shout irrespective of whether you want PW and three other wedges or go for two. A good monitor will give you an idea of distances and spin rates.

My advice is to figure out how far you hit the 45 degree. Lets say you hit it 125 yards.

Note whether you take a deep divot or skim the surface, note also what type of course you tend to play on, links, heathland, clay base, primeval swamp and armed with that info, ask a pro to recommend some models that are suitable. Then from those, find a club you can hit 100-105 yards and another you can hit 80 yards.

I have a 60 which I seldom use and when I do I am not always happy I did.

I also purchased rocketbladez but 4-sw, having read previously about consistent gapping, I opted for the rocketbladez aw(50) and a 60 tm to give a 5 degree gap from the pw to the lw .
