• We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!

Vinyl it's the future.

I am young and trendy. I'll have you know that there was once a time when I liked nothing better than playing Hawkwind on my Toshiba Music Centre. I was 3 at the time.

But either way I'm going to get a Dolby Souround Sound APP for my Spotify account and then I'll have the best of both worlds.
You can get a cream for spotify.

Don't know if it was Liam or Noel Gallacher that said a vinyl is a thing of beauty, you caress it similar to the way you caress a woman's breest. You spent a week deciding which part of your wages was going to be spent on a single or lp. You cherished it, you invited your mates around to listen to it. You listened to every record on it, instead of skipping to the popular records.

A cd is an expensive drinks mat That no one gets emotionally attached to.

I got a record player for Christmas - I bloody love it! Been wanting one for year.

New LP's in the likes of HMV are very expensive. I love going to old record stores (there is one locally) and I can pickup Original LP's for just a few quid. Works great for me as my music taste is vintage anyway!

Been after a couple of original oasis LPs for my lad. Now vinyls back they have shot up.

There's a vinyl shop opened in Mansfield.

as i said in this thread earlier, just another rip off for the consumer.

Al bring the bills, you bring the scotch, haggis, tatties and neeps, and we will rediscover our youth. Ave already got me vinyls. 👍😁from back in the day.

You sure it's not space cake, they'll load you up then take all your money whilst chewing the inside of your cheeks off whilst listening to Tubular Bells😜
