Also, the problem with sending it past the pin is the ball isn’t stopping on the greens, that’s what’s leaving all the downhill chips.
That's precisely my point. If the ball isn't stopping and leaves you with a downhill chip, you adjust and make sure you don't go past the pin. If tour pros are failing to figure that out, something is seriously wrong.
