Iv come to the conclusion that its not much use to me anymore after carrying for the last 5 weeks.....

Buying my carry bag has been the best thing iv done in a long time...Ok 2 achilles ruptures saw me using my Hillbilly for the most part but since ditching my trolley and cart bag for my carry bag iv now decided that my brolly is just extra weight i dont need to be lugging around.

That added to the fact that i wear Sunnice Gore Tex rain gear and im ever so slightly follicley challanged:whistle: the rain just runs off me.

Anyone else play without a brolly in the rain?

cant be done with one - my trolley's brake is a bit dodgy, so a slight breeze sees my clubs zoom off with the brolly acting like a sail ;)

Brolly is ideal in no wind, in a wind they just become a bigger pain than justone!

If it's one of those rounds where you might be waiting on the tee for 5 minutes then I'd rather get under the brolly... else the ciggy goes out

(Cheers Crawford) :p

I find if it's set to bucket down all morning I'll be in rain gear anyway do a brolly is pointless, if it's sunny but forecast a shower I may throw it on the bag?

But as I carry I always try abd keep the bag as light as possible - 6 balls absolute max etc

I always stick the brolly up even if it's windy.
Even though I'm wet anyway it's nice to get a bit of respite from it between shots.

If you tighten it into your holder on a trolley I've yet to play in a wind that can drag my bag on it's side down the fairway, although it's quite off-putting hearing it go over while you're mid-swing! :D
