TV - What Are You Watching?

Just watching the last bit of Man Vs Bee. It's reasonably funny, but also unbearably cringe and slightly annoying.
We just watched the follow-up to this, Man Vs Baby. I thought I would check back to see what I said last time, and that exactly sums up the new series too. Fairly amusing but the cringe levels are too high with some of the inexplicable decisions he makes and the contrived plot. It's basically just a modern day Mr Bean really.

First episode of the new series of The Capture on BBC. Really good first episode until the very end when it just went stupid. I'm annoyed now, don't know if I'll bother with the rest.

Scarpetta on Amazon. For anyone not aware, this is a hugely successful book series. I've read a few, not all. First episode was hard work, the key characters not at all likeable. I'll try the second, hopefully it improves.

Yes. I got totally fed up with the family infighting and switched programs.

Hoped it would be more like Coroner

This week I started two new to me series on Netflix

American Primeval, really Wild West very gory violence.

Steal 2 episodes in and looks good multi £billion robbery by bank transfer

We started that Owen Wilson golf program 'Stick' the other night. Straight away you have to suspend disbelief that the lad can hit small objects 200 yards away at the drop of a hat, since I don't think anyone in the history of the game has ever been that good, but otherwise it looks to have potential to be a decent watch. It's golf-related so I'm sure I'll like it at the end of the day.

I’ve tired 3 times to watch the first episode I just can’t get into it as it feels so badly acted and essentially a rip off of Tin Cup the only difference being he has a protégé to try and live his dream through.

Yeah, the similarities to Tin Cup were noticeable in episode one. Tin Cup for Gen Z? 😂 We'll give it a chance though.

I binged the series on a couple of long flights last summer. It was enjoyable enough. Not sure I would have stuck with it had I been at home, but it did the job at the time.

Really looking forward to the new series of Last One Laughing which start tonight on Amazon Prime. If it live sup to the first series it will be great. Still got some big name comedians and Bob Mortimer is returning as reigning champion.

Ah yes the last series was class. I'm a fan of Diane Morgan as well as David Mitchell, intrigued to see how they do. Sam Campbell is insane as well.
