TV - What Are You Watching?

Did it at school for o level. Gave me my life long hobby of people watching. Give me a cafe, coffee and busy high street and I can be there for hours. Main Street in Disney and I have hit the jackpot.
I did it also.
I have never forgotten the day I saw it in a local cinema and the audience comprised solely the pupils from several schools who were studying it (and a number of teachers).
1. When Piggy mentioned his asthma there was a collective roar from the audience of "Sucks to your asthma!"
2. When he fell to his death there was uproarious applause, foot stamping and cheers from all.
The teachers were on their feet remonstrating to no avail.
Hilarious but what a bunch of savages! 😅

I must get round to reading it again

Having only fairly recently got Disney + one of the series I most wanted to watch was the Mandolorian.
Finished the last episode today.
That was the way.
That’s something fancy doing. Watched a few and enjoyed them.
Just finished watching the first series of Fallout. Enjoyed that.

Dirty Business.

Saw episode 1 on Wednesday and episodes 2 and 3 last night.

Just as shocking and anger-inducing as the Post Office/Fujitsu drama documentary. Absolutely compelling 3 hours of TV.
People died and many more suffered serious life-long ill health due to thousands of illegal sewage discharges into our rivers and beaches.
Environment Agency were deliberately inadequate.

Another national scandal.

A science professor and a retired copper are the heroes. Several years of unpaid work in the national interest.
Knighthoods for those two must come.

I'm hoping it will bring it up front and centre as the PO programme did.

Also gave up. Dodgy brummy accent didn't help! Lost track of who was who - a clear sign it's not engaged me.
We watched 2 episodes.
The wife is someone who has to be gripped early or loses interest and then starts asking me who everyone is and what’s going on.

She never got into it at all and I wasn’t bothered as I need to find a character who I either love or loath, normally one of us will be interested enough to carry on with most series so this just must have been a very slow start

Classic hits in the piano room on BBC2... Omg... Why have i never watched this before.. Couple of glasses of vino... Volume up.... Am all in..
