TV - What Are You Watching?

U only just sussed this out.
Not at all they just seem to reach a new level every show. It seems talk is a lot easier than action. Some of these liberated strong women are doing my head in with the crying. Be supported by there mates who are happy to call them behind there backs 😖

One of the strongest women mentally was the largest but also one of the slowest so I understand why she went but I was sorry to see her go. I want a couple of the women out and also that dockers. At the moment it’s for me the strong black lad or the guy with 1 hand.

Being Gordon Ramsey on Netflix.
He comes across as very demanding of his work, but very family orientated.
Definitely not as pompous or arrogant as my wife thought that he was.

I didn’t see that, but I used to golf with a former chef who works restaurant supply chain.
Apparently GR has the lowest staff turnover because people actually like him as their boss. Others (also TV chefs) have it like a revolving door because they are a night work with.

He looks after any staff that work hard for him

Started to watch Curfew on Ch5 last night. Interesting concept with all men being tagged and a curfew enforced for women's safety. I fear like most Ch5 dramas it will start to get ridiculous and completely lose its way. I'll stick with it though and hope I'm wrong!

Watching it now that I've finished The Traitors - Ireland. The scenery is stunning (been there seen it) - main reason I'm watching tbh.

Problem I have with it is that although we know that in any reality programme the production team have a manipulation/support role to make it work - if it is done properly I can suspend my cynicism and go with it - but with The Summit I just can't. What the participants are doing is potentially sooo dangerous and exhausting that I struggle to suspend my disbelief to believe in what they are doing.

And as far as Dockers is concerned. Is he actually David Brent? An utterly deluded self-obsessed narcissist with no self-awareness - and add in that he's vile and nasty. Unfortunately there are many such males out there among us who will manipulate and rip us off for their own selfish and greedy purposes.

I'll add in one serious irritation I have with the participants (other than the propensity of 'strong' of the female participants to crumble into tears when the physical or emotional going gets tough)...there are some UK regional accents that are lovely, and some that I really don't take to at all. There have been too many of the latter - finger nails down the blackboard stuff.

Caught up with the 1st three episodes of the second series of PARADISE. Really, really good so far. A lot of intertwined story arcs running which seem very well written.
