TV - What Are You Watching?

On season 6 of Game of thrones, got to say i think it’s massively overrated.

Maybe it’s just not my thing 😬
Wash your mouth out 😤

Hard to come to a massive show years after it was out. The expectations are too high. Equally, just might not be your thing, as you say.

Is there any jeopardy for the characters when you are watching or do you know who survives? A huge part of the show originally was that no one was safe. You couldn't second guess or feel relaxed about a character.

No I didn’t know anything about it tbh.
Ive got to season 6 & im just finding it hard work.
Haven’t taken to any of the characters.

Sopranos is still No1 for me.

GOT really isn’t my thing,dragons & nightwalkers.
Thought I’d give it a go seen as it’s so highly rated.
But nah 😬

Such is life. Sopranos does nothing for me, not do any of the mafia, gangs type shows.

Fair play to you for making it to series 6 😄

The Sopranos is constantly playing in my head in all manor of real life scenarios, we're off to NYC in the summer and will be going Holstens for some onion rings.
We've got tickets to see Chris Moltisanti and Bobby Baccala talk about their podcast next month.

Four Kings. Documenting the impact of Bruno, Lewis, Benn and Eubank. Really enjoyed it. It might have been out a while but the first two episodes were shown on Channel 4 this week.

I couldn't get into Game of Thrones either, not my cup of tea at all. I don't really like things that pretend to be set in some period of history, but then you've got fantasy elements thrown in as well - and not a big fan of gratuitous violence either. Then again I tried Sopranos and I was bored 💩-less watching that as well. Way too slow.

Same here, was kind of ok at the start but as soon as a dragon came out of a fire that was me done with it, can’t be having any sorcery rubbish in my tv shows. Think the missus has watched it herself since but then again she loves Harry Potter 🤦🏻🤣

I found GoT an odd watch. I loved the first few seasons, but it felt like the last couple were rushed and kind of muddled together to give an ending because the final book hasn’t even been written yet so when it’s done it won’t match anything that confused the series which makes it even odder to end how it did 🤷🏼

On the Sopranos that’s one I just couldn’t stand but like Breaking Bad every moment of it bored me and I couldn’t find interest in any characters.

Sons of Anarchy however! That to me was phenomenal and I could watch several times over.

Breaking Bad was top notch for me, but the performances of Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul were such a big part of that. Funny to think Cranston was only known as the loveable dad from Malcolm in the Middle before that.

I enjoyed Sons of Anarchy, but it felt like watching the A team at times.
Bullets flying everywhere & no one getting hit.
