TV - What Are You Watching?

Binged Steal on Amazon Prime over the weekend.

Not sure if I liked it or not, but stayed up late to finish it, so I guess it was ok.

6 episode's, circa 45 mins each.

Found myself watching S1 of ‘The Middle’ (2009) on flight back from KL. Never watched it before and found myself really enjoying its silliness - so much so I watched 13 episodes, and have picked it up now returned home.

TEHRAN on Apple TV. It's really good. I know it's fiction but my guess is it accurately reflects life in Iran. Unfortunately, we're seeing some similar tactics here in the US.
The acting is spot on and sometimes it's hard to tell the good guys from the bad guys.

Thanks for a reminder, think S3 is out

An old episode of One Foot in the Grave.
Victor is having his privates shaved by a male nurse with a cut throat razor in preparation for an op.
Nurse, shaving away:
"Amazing times we live in. A man on the moon!"
Victor: "Yes"
Nurse: "House prices are ridiculous"
Victor: "Where?"
Nurse: still shaving away, "On the moon. I got one. 30,000 lunar pounds".
Realisation dawns on Victor....
Enter three nurses : "Mr (), please put the razor down.... it's time to go home.
Cue Victor's face 😆
Ends with Victor's wife saying to him "Well, that was a close shave" Boom boom!
Decades ago and I laughed aloud so many times 👍

It's watchable for sure. Little bit silly at times.
It is a little silly, but then aren't a lot of detective shows if you dig into them? What is interesting, my wife works with a company who deal with neurodiverse people in business. They are all obsessed with this show. It is a rare show that puts them in the spotlight and largely gets it right. They recognise so many traits in Patience and they are shown in a truthful but sympathetic way.

That's good to know as wasn't sure how well they were portraying her. I think there's just too many detective shows on TV but this is one of the better ones.
