TV Series - What Are You Watching?

Diplomat on Netflix... It had some much promise. Could have gone in so many different ways. But it chose to be very superficial and with impossible ideas (US ambassador slipping into the UK foreign sec's office unnoticed).. Throw in the cliche references to Russian, Brexit, Ukraine, and single handedly the US Ambassador turns into Jason Borne...

I think Brits do drama better than the yanks.

Just in the middle of it. See what you mean but no spoilers please.

Watched the new Luther - Fallen Sun on Netflix... though some bits are far fetched, overall it is a typical Luther flick. it is fairly gritty, but not as gritty as the BBC series.

Finished The Night Agent, was ok, dragged a little in the middle for me but the ending was solid.
We've watched 2 episodes and I'm struggling a bit. It feels like the 24 formula but without the compulsion to immediately start the next episode as soon as you've finished the last.
It's strange that I can watch Marvel and Star Wars spin-offs without feeling the need to question the gaping holes in plot and reality but watching something set in the here and now I keep finding myself muttering, "Well that's just stupid."

Enjoying the new series of Guilt on bbc also has a great soundtrack running through the series one episode had Faithhealer by Alex Harvey which was perfect for the scene.
