Just watched the first two episodes on Amazon, haven’t laughed so much for ages.really looking forward to starting this
My wife is always checking our twos phones. She's also banned them from certain social media platforms. We watched Adolescence over the weekend. Binged it in one go. It's quite heavy going as every episode is very thought provoking.
It also makes you realise how difficult it is for parents as, with social media, you just have no idea what your kids could be involved in, or subjected to.
Enjoyed it so far too. Really good concept. Bob Mortimer being the highlight for me.Just watched the first two episodes on Amazon, haven’t laughed so much for ages.
Watched the first episode tonight, can't say I'm that bothered with the restFinished it tonight. Enjoyed it, but somehow found elements/characters annoying.
When you consider that it was all done in one shot did add to it and also got me thinking on a few things:Started watching Adolesence last night. Completed all 4 episodes. It was brilliant and heart breaking.
Definitely one of the best things on TV. And I can imagine it would mean even more to many parents and teen kids
The director at my company was asking about that very same thing today, wondering how they did the camera work, particularly for some scenes. And yes, the acting was incredible, especially from a kid, who apparently had no prior acting experience. When you consider that it was all done in one shot did add to it and also got me thinking on a few things:
Well done to the entire crew and cast for making it work so well.
- The actors had to spend a lot of on-screen time doing very intense acting. All were excellent with Owen Cooper as Jamie doing excellent work for such a young actor.
- The location of the camera going from low level to drone to close ups (How Netfilix shot Adolescence in one take)
Anyone know which episode took 13 takes to get right. I suspect it was when Jamie was with the psychiatrist. That was incredible acting from the young Jamie! The director at my company was asking about that very same thing today, wondering how they did the camera work, particularly for some scenes. That was the first episode they shot as well. They were worried about the casting of Jamie, knowing what the 3rd episode required.Anyone know which episode took 13 takes to get right. I suspect it was when Jamie was with the psychiatrist. That was incredible acting from the young Jamie!
Was the last episode I believe (saw Stephen Graham talking to Jimmy Fallon about it the other day)Anyone know which episode took 13 takes to get right. I suspect it was when Jamie was with the psychiatrist. That was incredible acting from the young Jamie!
Blimey, how many tins of paint were used? Was the last episode I believe (saw Stephen Graham talking to Jimmy Fallon about it the other day)
I remember watching this when it came out. Sarah Lancashire certainly nailed the part.Started Happy Valley last week, can see what all the fuss was about. Started season 3 last night.
