I’m enjoying it, but it would be better if there were one or two halfway likeable characters. Mayne in particular is pretty unpleasant and completely off his head, it’s hard to believe anyone would last five minutes acting like that. The total lack of respect for senior officers doesn’t ring true either, was it really like that?

Going by all the stories yes he was like that

He was even worse as a rugby player on tour

Many of the early SAS were like that

The Regiment has always been looked down on by the military hierarchy.
Had it not been for the Iranian embassy siege they would have been disbanded.
That allowed them to reinvent their military purpose and stick 2 fingers up to the brass.

New series of Pottery Throwdown 😍. Straight away it's lovely TV, no nastiness.

Very high early standard, the winning set was stunning and something that you would happily buy in a shop.

I'm halfway through watching episode 1 and usual high standard. Bit weird why Rose left (I had to google it). They always seem to get really nice people. I guess they are often a "type" - artistic and a bit hippy-ish but overall just love their craft and those that love it too.

I want to try it. Throwing that is. Found a guy near me. I'll be absolutely useless but it should be fun :)

It's great, and bonkers. Ep2, the guy wanting to leave SAS MK2 and go back to the original regiment.

"Why do you want to leave?"
"They're all sane" 😂

Also like the warning at the beginning that artistic licence has definitely be taken. It makes it clear, it's a guide, not exact.
A good watch. I've only seen series 2. Is series 1 worth it?

SAS Rogue Heroes - strong start.

Gogglebox Festive Special - blubbed a bit watching them watching Gavin & Stacey. Their reactions pretty much matched mine. I think I'll have to watch it multiple times :)
We are most of the way through series 2. quite enjoyable. though from what i understand quite a bit of poetic license on show.

Now that WWE is on Netflix on I've gone down a rabbit hole and started watching all the events I watched as a kid, 1am-4am then back up for school at 7.30, easy.
I'll have to give that a look at some point. Used to love it around 1999-2002 ish when you had The Rock, Stone Cold, Angle, Jericho, Kane, then Lesnar coming in and shaking it up.
