It's like an American doing an English accent, no doubt an English person doing an American one. It's so deliberate and precise, it's clearly not natural. They really should have got a natural Irish actor to do it.

Apparently his mannerisms of what Paddy Mayne was like is spot on

it’s still a great show though

It's great, and bonkers. Ep2, the guy wanting to leave SAS MK2 and go back to the original regiment.

"Why do you want to leave?"
"They're all sane" 😂

Also like the warning at the beginning that artistic licence has definitely be taken. It makes it clear, it's a guide, not exact.

The Crowded Room, pretty deep stuff.
I didn't read what it was about and took me 2 episodes to figure out what was happening.
True story and very interesting, worth a watch.
On Apple TV through a friend's firestick.
Update, really powerful stuff at the end.

I’m enjoying it, but it would be better if there were one or two halfway likeable characters. Mayne in particular is pretty unpleasant and completely off his head, it’s hard to believe anyone would last five minutes acting like that. The total lack of respect for senior officers doesn’t ring true either, was it really like that?

Watched a bit of the Masked Singer. Nailed the "celeb" reveal in 20s!

After I caught a bit of Ant n Dec's Limitless game show. It's Who Wants To Be a Millionaire and The Wall.

Then afterwards, saw episode one of Playing Nice. Standard ITV drama.

The Masked Singer. It's just joyous.
Sorry.
Man, every time there's a new series I have no idea it's started and miss the first three episodes. Will have some catching up to do now. (I miss the days where watching via online catch-up meant it took out most of the adverts. No such luck nowadays. 1.5 hour program and about 30 mins of that is adverts.)
