GOOD! I'm sick of hearing about when he will. I hate the way the media is so concentrated on him. It will be good to have him back playing and making all the others players look silly.

It was on the pga website last week, a cut n paste from his blog that he is walking fine, his only problem is stamina.

I really hope he does come back next week, golf has missed him!

"I'm ready to play again" Woods said"

Welcome back Tiger!

I'm probably the only one who is thinking....." i don't particularly care !!! " .

I think its great the way golf has coped without the Messiah and whilst i can admire his domination , determination and skill , there's more to Golf than Tiger.

I know who will be looking forward to it though.....Tournament sponsors :D :D :D

I think its fantastic news for the game, having the No1 ranked player in the world back can only be good news.

Lets be honest, if there was another player in the field capable of filling Tiger's boots then he wouldnt be missed half as much as he is, but the bare facts are that nobody is even close to Tiger.

Yes Sergio has climbed the ranks, and there are some really exciting young players coming through, but Sergio in his position as No2 ranked has hardly set the world alight has he?

For me, Tiger's return is excellent, i only hope his knee is ok and he re-discovers his best form as soon as possible.

I don't think there is anyway he'd come back not ready to play. I know he has a big contract with accenture and they want their pound of flesh but he is realistic enough to know if he goes out in the 1st round it won't do his confidence any good or please the sponsor. He needs to get fit again and the only real way is on the course in battle. He's ready!

Anyone else coming back after a long lay off would have no chance of winning, remember when els came back after hurting his wrist,he struggled!!

But this guy is just unbelievable at doing the unexpected so I fully expect him to be ready and providing he has the stamina for the event, one of the favourites!!!

Tiger coming back can only be good for the game, Garcia, Harrington and the rest have all raised their games and now Tiger must come back strong.

I don't think he will have it all his own way, so let battle commence.

Homer is right in saying Tiger would not return until he is ready.

I am very much excited by this news though and can't wait for the matchplay to begin, he has definitely been missed and is an asset to the game for more than just sponsor money- he is truly remarkable to watch.
