thinking sub-par gross tomoro!

Got a game lined up tomoro, game feels in really good shape and really confident about the ball striking.

FIrst run with the new putter so everyone putts amazing on the first couple of rounds.

Swing changes ive made have allowed me to really get the club on the ball alot better than before so my confidence is brimming.

All this put together i was thinking about the round today at work and see no reason why i cant put the first sub par gross round in of the season

I think that every time I tee it up.... and then proceed to duff it round in an obscene amount of shots. It's amazing how a double, double, triple start can put the mockers on a good round LOL

just playing at my new home course. -1 with 3 to go isnt bad at all, shame about the finish tho, hard holes at the end?

Prev round was +3 but in tough conditions and according to the weather, things look a bit finer tomorrow

Quite possibly the only training aid i don't have.......yet

Putting was ok, double crossed 5 approach shots. Had a look on the video today and my grip has gone too weak and i was over releasing through the ball.

I've already blown it twice this year already. -2 with 2 to go finished bogey, bogey. -1 with 1 to go finished with a bogey.

Hopefully it won't become a habit!!

To top it off I got put up .1 for playing +3 on Sun on an awful day because all the bandits played and the CSS was stupid.

Hopefully you can get off to a better start this year.

I too started sundays round -1 through the first 3 holes.

I then proceeded to finish the front nine with 4 doubles a triple and a bogey!

Finished the back nine ok to finish +1 over my handicap which wasn't bad considering the catasphrophy on the front nine.

it got rained off after 7 holes, absolutly gutted. was level through 7 so nothing special but gutted that the greens started to fill up with surface water

Thought it would be tough with the cold, wet day we had. I spent most of the day staying close to the radiator in the shop while drinking coffee.

Next game will be your first sub par round of the year.
