Things you see others do.

Obviously, NO ONE on this forum has ever done any of these things that they've seen 'others' do

People who insist their 220 yard drive has gone 270/280 and that they often hit 300 yards plus. FFS look at the stats from the tour, are you really as good as them????

People that stand near the tee and do not believe that people can hit it big distances just because they can't. Many times I have stood on the first at my place and heard people mumbling because I am not even getting ready to hit my shot when the group in front have played. Problem is they only hit it about 220 from the tee, so I have got to wait for them to have walked at least 50 yards before they are out of the way of an average drive, let alone if I nail one out of the screws.

You don't need to be a professional golfer to have flexibility and strength. I hit a 6 iron further than the old boys at my place drive it.

People who keep a single tee in their pocket, and every other hole realise when it's their turn to play that they lost said tee on the previous hole. So they start rootling in their bag for one.
Live dangerously chaps... carry a spare tee or rwo

the ones with the latest gadgets that give them the distance to the green, after debating the information they still top/slice/hook sh*nk duff the ball 50 yds then blame the machine!!!!

If you carry - don't carry your bag upright on your back as if you are carrying a quiver of arrows - because if you look like an archer you'll play like an archer and I never saw an archer successfully release a golf ball from his bow. Spot someone carry in this manner and you can bet they haven't played much at all and they can hardly hit a ball. So don't tempt fate by doing it yourself.

This made me chuckle...

I also have a friend who does this, and he often challenges the guys he plays with to try it.

Don't. Unless you want a sky mark on your driver. It is remarkably difficult to do, it takes several goes to make contact, and then you roof it.

He drives it a mile with a left to right flight, but it works for him.

This is my fave  Love to see their faces too when the ball lands miles down the fairway.

The 3 selfish plonkers who were in front me and my fellow players on Saturday in the medal who feel they can meander around the golf course as slow and as casually as they like.:( One even works in the Pro shop. Stood on the tea discussing the last whole after bell had gone some 15 mins before for them to tee off. They had lost up to 2 holes from the beginning and never made them up. I couldnt keep quiet any longer and mentioned that they might want to get a move on caused a big hoo ha and defensive out burst!! I think we waited on every shot from the 1st hole around the course by the end of it it had ruined my day, my rhythm my round and my partners games. Trouble is its the same people every week and they think that if they do a round within a certain time then its ok!! WRONG!! Keep up with the people in front or let people through! Basic etiquette

People who despite being in deepest doodoo select a club based entirely on the distance to the flag.

Can't believe how many times I've seen people try to hit a 3 wood out of 6 inch rough.

Just take your medicine and make sure you play your next shot from the fairway.

Also people who don't know how a SW works and try to get the ball out of a bunker by digging deeply into the sand behind the ball with the leading edge.

It's even worse when once in a blue moon somebody actually pulls one of the above off.

Oooh yes - I do that. My playing partner last time very politely said that he though I was safe to play. He was right - I couldn't have fired it that far with a cannon.

I don't mean to pick fault but rule 2 on the forum, after "everyone hits a driver further than Rory" is "never admit that someone else is right" - RIGHT!

Things i do.
1.Lift my head whilst chipping[winds me up],duff chip.
2.Generally short on too many putts[not commiting fully],so i need to learn
to follow through better.

Oh my god this is me, especially number one. Drives me to distraction!!!

Main things I notice are grip (too weak / too strong), tempo (too fast) and horrible flippy wrists on chips
