Just a follow on really from Tigers marginal gains.
What do you see others do that you think to yourself "if you didnt do that you might do
it better".
And things you do yourself that might help you.

Just for starters i see
1.People who tee the ball up high enough for a driver, and they are taking an iron.
2.Players that are slicing it right,so set up pointing further to the left.
3.Players who dont clean there ball before a putt, and say i will just knock this in[then miss]
because it had dirt on it.
Over to you.

Things i do.
1.Lift my head whilst chipping[winds me up],duff chip.
2.Generally short on too many putts[not commiting fully],so i need to learn
to follow through better.

People that 'demand' exact yardages to the pin even though they are in the thick rough and just need to get it out

What others do ? .. over complicating reading putts , look at it from all angles, information overload , then leave it 2 foot short because the mind is trying to work out all the info
,,
( to make matters worse then some idiot says you had it, if ya had hit it !.. whaaat ? please stop)

What I do.. (but am slowly getting out of ).. Under clubbing

The main one that gets me with my regular playing partner is the state of his clubs, they get cleaned on his birthday and christmas only it seems, grooves are a long distant memory lol. He can be a bit sadistic though, almost as though he enjoys making it harder for himself.

Another one is the players who must think everyone should always hit the same club the same distance. So if Ive hit an 8 iron they automatically think its an 8 iron for them. Played with a guy like this in a scramble and had to explain to him that he was probably 3 clubs different to me

Not so much what others do but what I do, when standing over a shot and not feeling comfortable I would guess 95% of the time I hit a bad shot, if I move away and redo setup I more often than not hit it good, unfortunately I don't have the discipline to reset often enough.

Friends who think there clubs carry x yards yet they have never made that club go that far. Week in week out miss the front of greens for years on end as they believe there 7 iron (or whatever) carries 150 yards and it only carries 140 yards.

I don't care and am not moaning but I do find it strange what the ego will go through to stay intact.

People taking a club less than me just to say they did so - and then either leaving it a good club or so short, or miles wide because they've swung out of their shoes to try and get it there! "Just hit the right club there's no prize for hitting a 9 iron 150yards!"

I've seen people (generally, but not limited to ladies) with x yards to go hit a well struck shot that goes half the distance what do they do next? change clubs! "You've just hit the last club 75yards you've now got 75yards to go why are you changing?"

A guy I play with has the worst grip I've ever seen. The V of the thumb and forefinger on his right hand points at his chin, yet he sometimes manages to knock it around in the low 80s.

He can also play a round and shank every iron shot over the 18 holes, and I do mean every iron shot.

People standing in the middle of the fairway on a long par 4/5 with an iron in hand waiting fo the green to clear to take there second shot...

....... Which they hit flush out of the scres and come up 100 yards short of the green

JUST HIT THE BLEEDIN' BALL!! YOU CAN'T REACH HE GREEN WITH THAT CLUB!!!

Oooh yes - I do that. My playing partner last time very politely said that he though I was safe to play. He was right - I couldn't have fired it that far with a cannon.

Your first one is bang on number one for me. Gets on my nerves people thinking they hit clubs so far yet always seem to be way short. Then they come out with a cracker like oh didnt catch that or came out of it

Zen Golf, Joseph Parent, will take a few hours to read and will change this forever. (well it did for me)

The most destructive thing I see my regular playing partner do regularly is get really upset with himself when he starts badly or say "yeah but Ill mess it up on the back 9" when he starts well.

Negative self-talk. And out loud too. Can't understand it, would be bad enough if it was going on inside his head. :)

I used to play in a very competitive 4 ball [2-4 handicap]
When Pings first came out they had the club number stamped on the face, easy to see what club the golfer selected.
The Ping guy would get most upset if he played first and was a club short with say a 7 iron.
One of the other guys would always say, should have played a 6 iron George.

Your not alone mate. Why don't we just take a step back & start it again??????
