The Non Golfing weekend thread!

When were you given editorial control. You might be right but not your place. Freedom of speech and all that

I was just commenting Homer that it was prob a bit too much info about your wife - im sure my missus wouldnt want personal stuff like that on a public forum.

Worked today, and tomorrow taking my 4 year old Grandson out for a Birthday treat - a small family theme park that has a, "Thomas The Tank Engine" day, every day! And he's in to Thomas in a big big way.

Should be great fun, just hope the rain and wind stays away!

Not sure about the weather but hope the young 'un has a good day. I've got given a list of chores from the wife to keep me out of mischief and away from the online golf stores

Cricket today. Kept wicket for 42 overs. Stopped a shed load of byes, missed a few, missed a stumping, dropped a catch, took a catch, got a stumping but (their) umpire didn't agree. Scored a mighty 2 not out. Lost the gaem, went down the club, got pished. Great day:cheers:

Bought ingredients and cooked fajita's after playing 36 holes today..... (Oops, sorry Scooter!...).

Hope your lad gets better soon...

Interesting start to the morning. One of the dressings had bled overnight. Called the ward and she was advised to take it off and wash it out. Took the pad off and it looked like a scene from Taggart. Blood all over the floor that I had to clean up!!! Applied sanitary towel and called the Gynae ward. Drove in and they examined her. Stitches holding and put down to free draining blood escaping. New dressing applied, spares given and back home for lunch. Got to say the staff were excellent as they have been since she was admitted on Thursday until discharged yesterday. Want a much quieter Sunday as I've a list of household chores to do

I expect it's going to be quite some time before she can manage to swing properly Homer.
I would just limit it to putting practice at the moment.
Just make sure she keeps hold of her score cards
;)

Family trip to Grantham today to Belton House where eldest daughter has some knitwear on display as part of a Lincoln Uni art n design exhibition.

I'll wave to GB72 as we pass Belton Park .

Took the boys to the Leicester Tigers Open day yesterday. Weathers looking pretty bad for today so will probably end up taking them to a play barn of sorts. Wife is working all weekend.
Sister in law to the rescue. Cinema in Boston to see Rio 2. Oh deep deep joy.

mrs working all day,i should have been playing in an invitational but after seeing the trees bending and the torrential rain smashing into the windows called that off, having a lazy one this morning, just had a corned beef and fried egg toastie (freedom from hid and diet) going to check out a new car this afternoon,if i can be bothered then sisters for our tea and a few drinks in the club later tonight,p s all this could change if my son decides to bring the grandkids, then hectic relenting havoc for 5 hours !!!

Was going up town to watch some of the cycling as both my lads are giving it a go this year... Right now I am betting they are wishing they hadn't... Got all three of the grandsons here now so on babysitting duties... Will be baking them some of their favourite cakes to have after lunch.. Luckily they like what I like.... Guinness and beetroot muffins with chocolate chips...

I think at times maybe there is too much information posted

Reckon your first post about it covered the basics - details prob not needed

I was just commenting Homer that it was prob a bit too much info about your wife - im sure my missus wouldnt want personal stuff like that on a public forum.

Homer it wasnt a "decision" it was a comment thats all.
for once Phil I'm in total agreement, how many times is Homer gonna post about his wife's 'details'. I'm just dreading any pictures appearing:eek:

Ask your wife if she's happy having her 'bits' described on a public forum, think she'll be ok with it- thought not

I agree also, at the end of the day it was also Phils personal opinion and freedom of speech to comment as soon as Homer felt the need to go into so much detail which Homer seemed to think only applied one-way!
