So what is everyone who is not playing golf this weekend up to?

My mrs has gone to Bath for a girly weekend, so I am at home with the kids all weekend. Was planning on taking them to Southampton as my mate is having a BBQ and he lives in Ocean Village and my other mate was going to take my older 2 out on his boat. But my lad has decided to redecorate the toilet with vomit, so stuck in the house for the weekend.

What's everyone up to??

NO GOLF STORIES!! Hence this is in OOB.. not expecting many responses from a golf forum!! LOL

Mrs working this morning and tomorrow morning as she needs to get stuff finished at work before we fly to Ireland for 2 weeks tomorrow evening. Ruined my golf plans I can tell ya. Got a bit of a family gathering at her uncles this afternoon.

Just off to collect eldest grandson from Margate... So most of today I'll be stuck in the car... Not my favourite pastime... Tomorrow looks like being a washout so a bit pointless making plans beyond being stuck indoors...

Oh dear, scooter at home with the kids all weekend .... the forums and twitter are quaking in their boots ;)

Personally it's a day around town with the wife today, and then probably a nice round of the unmentionable tomorrow !

Back from Hols yesterday so today is a running around picking up various pets, doing shopping and other stuff kind of day.
Back to work tomorrow in the wind and rain....
Busy week with HID at work 1 day and 2 nights so me and The Boy are going to do stuff on our own and little if any unmentionables until Friday...

Well there is a club board comp on but i can't play ;)

Strange story, my pal is a budding artist who hates the stuff I like (Rothko and other "straight line" stuff :D) however for some reason he said he'd come to the Baltic with me to see the Daniel Buren exhibition. It doesn't end there, apparently we're starting at the top end of town and doing a pub/art gallery crawl

It's his birthday next weekend so I couldn't really say no

Food shopping today, then off to a local pub for two of my work mates that are retiring and having a bit of a do.

Tomorrow will be a relaxing read of the sunday papers then I will cook the dinner for all four of us .

Wife had an op on Thursday, discharged home yesterday so spending the weekend looking after her. Early morning run back to the hospital as the wound was bleeding excessively. New dressing applied, stitching checked and all good and back home. Not quite what I envisaged

now get your pinny back on, get off the laptop and make Marge a cuppa! get well soon Mrs S ;)

Just home from a cracking country walk from Fotheringhay, taking in Nassington and Elton - some of Northamptonshire's finest countryside. So sitting with the footie on thinking the sun's out and might just get a few holes in later this afternoon - oopsie!

You bunch of soft ninnies, hire a baby sitter, get a family friend around to comfort your partners, do what-ever it takes and get your club out and get on a course, you know you want to.....

3.5 hours drive to Staffordshire yesterday afternoon, evening B&b
rest of drive to manchester this morning after a superb breakfast - all locally sourced
Picked up daughter from mother in law, 1 hr being sociable, then turn around and very slow 5.5 hour drive back - the huge delay caused by nothing other than rubber necking the 5 car smash on the other carriageway

Got in an straight out on the bike for 2 hours to try and sweat some weight off before hols this week

Nice bottle of red wine to help send me off to sleep :)

Glad I'm not the only one! Daughters birthday party today, missed the board comp. got a christening tomorrow that starts at 0930! That's the medal out! My birthday Monday, time with kids etc then my eldest daughter birthday on Tuesday! No golf until Wednesday earliest!

Interesting start to the morning. One of the dressings had bled overnight. Called the ward and she was advised to take it off and wash it out. Took the pad off and it looked like a scene from Taggart. Blood all over the floor that I had to clean up!!! Applied sanitary towel and called the Gynae ward. Drove in and they examined her. Stitches holding and put down to free draining blood escaping. New dressing applied, spares given and back home for lunch. Got to say the staff were excellent as they have been since she was admitted on Thursday until discharged yesterday. Want a much quieter Sunday as I've a list of household chores to do

I think at times maybe there is too much information posted
