The GM forum 'black list'.

People who go on about golfing 'clicks' or special 'groups'.

I guess there is some jealousy going on there because they are usually just a group of friends or people who play thogether.

It depends what your meaning of a "Click or Group" is. Mine are the old cronies that must have their chairs by the bar, must have their tables at the social events, must have their regular time slots and block book tee times for each other etc.

This really gauls me as golf clubs nowadays should be for the benefit of everyone where everyone is treated as an equal and NOBODY has the given right to preferential treatment. These types of "Clicks & Groups" don't need pointing out as they're aware of who they are at all clubs.

The feeling in your stomach when your pal rings and says 'are you on your way mate?' and you say 'yeah' whilst your lying in bed thinking the comp was tomorrow :D Yes, me this morning! :D

I agree with the clique thing and although we are pretty friendly as a club there are certain little groups (one made up of better players who really do think they are a cut above) and there are a couple of veterans groups during the week that have to have everything to their liking (course, weather, tea afterwards, where they sit etc) and they are a nightmare if someone is on their table or the tea and toast is late.
