Am sure we all get bogged off at times going through Groundhog Day with some topics. Threads locked coz folk don’t behave, infractions etc etc.
But some days the forummers come into their own and go above and beyond.
For those that may of read, I was supposed to be going down to London village tomorrow morning at stupid o’clock to look at a car with my son. I even had a translator lined up to help with the language barrier. The Car was £35k and is a large wedge for my lad.
This morning just before I took my parents out for the day I contacted a forummer as I was sure he had knowledge of said car.
So after a couple of hours through the advice of said forummer the dealer in London will now not be visited by Tash and son. A website said forummer put me onto showed quite a few red flags regards the car. Red flags we would otherwise not have known about including back end damage to the car.
For that reason I would like the whole of the forum to know that Tashyboy sends on a massive Bless ya Luv ya Squeeze ya to GreiginFife.

Cheers me man😘

Tash was that website Car Vertical as hearing good things about it for car reports
It was indeed, even my lad had not heard of it. The history of the car was exceptional. Both good and bad. Personally I think if it is read well, it could give a big selling advantage to the buyer. My lad was waxing lyrical about the low mileage of the car and said it will still have low mileage when he sells it. But it will also have the history of having rear damage, so anyone buying it that is worth there salt will know that.
Chuffed to bits and I know my lad is as well thanks to Greig.

Ironically, the mileage was the first red flag I picked up. 18k in the first 3 years then very little the next 4 including a failed first MoT and then the damage.

Reeks of youngish lad flexing and losing the back end in to a wall.

My lad has just rung me, the sales guy has just got back to him About an hour ago. My lad mentioned about the damage and the sales guy “ skirted” over that and talked about a beautiful sounding and looking car and the owners are from the same family and ones in insurance and ones in Dubai which is why it’s low mileage. Me and Missis T have told him to tell the guy in London to shove it. Lots of car sales waffle. He is now looking at one in Hereford. I have told him to get the reg and do a check. 👍

Did he explain the removed Cats and stripped tires as well 😂? If you want me to cast an eye over the check then just PM me as before.
