Micah Richards is quoted after Billy Boots class of 92 šŸ¤”
As recently as last month Amorin was publicly denouncing the quality of academy players at Utd. The week City played 7 academy players in a game Utd had one on the bench.
The discussion of Acadamy players is alongside the first team, a manager who was inflexible, an old stadium etc etc.
Utd have deep rooted problems of which a new manager will Not solve.
The discussions re Utd at there best are now historic.
The ā€œ Yeah but back in the Olden days we were better than you are nowā€. Just goes to show how far off the pace Utd now are As a Club. Do I take any joy from that. Not really.
But it was about money and how you use the Academy to make a profit, Utd used there’s to win trophies.

Do Utd still hold the record of playing at least 1 Academy player in every match for like 50 years?

Plus mate, this isn’t about yous.

Utd are in cack state, manager wise, and for some it’s hilarious, but it’s still about them needing to sort themselves out.

Jeez, are you all still talking about Manyoo, rather than getting excited about the MASSIVE game that's on tonight???

I am of course talking about West Ham v Forest.

Or, if you wish to use the proper name: El Crappio.
A game that would normally be pretty dull to the odd neutral, becomes very intriguing and a good one to watch.

West Ham win, and Forest will be dragged right into the relegation battle. Forest win, and it is a huge comfort for Forest, whilst it will be a disaster for West Ham. The atmosphere in the stadium will be interesting, albeit we might not hear it on TV as the fans are miles away from the pitch.

Forest big favouritesd on form, as they've picked up 3 points in the last 6 games, compared to the 2 points West Ham have earned.

Massive game for both teams. A draw is no use to either one. Looking forward to it (y)
Glad someone is!
On current form we must be the worst team in the league, no pace, skill or confidence anywhere in the side. The atmosphere will be ugly if as I expect Forest take the lead. It’s also an 8pm kickoff so we will probably get home near 11pm and the temperature will be around -4C
I’m dreading it tbh. (COYI 🄓)

Just heard Neville talking about Amorim and also previous managers and he was talking about managers having to do things The Man Utd way ?!

It’s a saying we hear a lot

The West Ham way ? The Spurs Way

Is that something on the pitch ? The club ?

What are clubs ā€œwayā€

When I have heard people talk about the Liverpool Way it’s more about the club as whole and its values as opposed to what’s on the pitch - more about the club bond with the local community etc as opposed to a tactic on the pitch
Yeah, it's just a nonsense way of saying fans want to see attacking football. I wonder if Stoke fans talk about 'the Stoke way', which would be a 4-4-2 of industrious players and long throws.

Honestly, some Spurs fans still credit Ange for playing 'the Spurs way' even though it lost us two thirds of our games. Fans are dumb.

I think the Stoke way is now the Arsenal way.

Rory Delap be worth 100million in today’s market šŸ˜‚

Maybe United are eyeing up Tony Pulis

Reading this thread over the last couple of days regarding Man. Utd manager. It's right that who is needed is someone who is familiar with Utd's history, their method of football, the pros and cons of being one of the biggest clubs in the world.
And so I'm drawn to the conclusion that the next manager should be a Kopite! For only they know what's wrong at Utd and what's best for them. This after listening to the football sages at Lime Street.

Oh, it's horrible for those involved. As a neutral though, it's nice to sit back and watch

No, it's much longer than that.
It's at least one academy graduate in the match day squad since the run started in October 1937.
That's over 4,300 consecutive games ......................... astonishing!
