No problem with stamping out stuff like tragedy, racist and homophobic chanting at football matches.

But by "poverty" chants, are you referring to the "Sign on, sign on" song that people sometimes sing at Scousers? If so, isn't this type of thing more to do with taking the mick out of their anthem, rather than actually taking the mick out of people in poverty? It's been sung for so long, isn't it just worth a bit of an eyeroll and seen as water off a duck's back?
How do you justify it being sung to Everton fans?

That's another issue. But doesn't reflect the streaming rights

More people would avoid IPTV entirely if the legal way was affordable and simple

When sky want £80 or whatever a month. Plus netflix , Disney, paramount, apple TV, discovery sport. Prime

It's easy to see why people turn to iptv that costs £80 a year
Its not.

You want the 3pm blackout removing and have suggested to "make it affordable and simple". The price you're charged to watch from the comfort of your own warm home should be on a par of what a fan is paying to go through the turnstiles.

No, going through the turnstiles should be cheaper than watching at home. IE it should be reduced

However the issues are separate

Interesting line up tonight

Paquata dropped for Alvarez

Emerson dropped (after scoring) for coufal (AWB will play lb)

Summerville dropped. Fuming about this for kudos

But importantly ings starts over the awful Antonio

The illusive fulkerg on the bench

If you were watching the FA Cup draw last night and you shouted out “ACCRINGTON STANLEY? ‘OO ARE THEY?!” in your best Scouse accent as soon as they were drawn to Liverpool, then you and I can be friends. 🤣

Sad thing is there’s an entire generation who wouldn’t understand that. 😩🤣
Forgot to add that the lad who said that ( who you can’t see in the advert ) is currently behind bars for Murder

Yes “Interesting” 🤔

Souchek, Soler and Alvarez in the middle looks very slow.

Surely Kudos in the middle and Summerville out wide has got to be worth a try?

Looks like he’s still experimenting, hoping to get it right.

Soler has been class the past 2 games though. Very clever player. That ball for AWB goal was unreal

Fully agree. Kudos should be up front. If we are happy to play the deadwood Antonio there surely someone who can trap, dribble, pass and shoot is an upgrade on him

Jeff Stelling and Ally McCoist were talking this morning about the 3 Pm blackout and if it’s time to remove it

When it came in it was about ensuring the clubs still had fans attending games

But everything has evolved - many fans can’t get tickets , where as fans from all over the world can get to see any game they want on a media channel

So is it time to allow all the games to be broadcast or will that affect the clubs below the top league
Actually I think you if you listened further you would have heard them being against it totally.

The reality is scrapping the 3pm blackout will kill the smaller clubs, for example they used Solihull Moors and how they get really small gates when Birmingham play at home and much better when away, yet 3pm games on TV, they are getting even less fans.

We have to stop being so narrow minded and small and thinking about only 20 clubs. There are hundreds of clubs that will be affected out there that are not the premier league.

Is there not enough live football on. We had Friday, 2 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday, 2 on Tuesday, 6 tomorrow and 2 on Thursday. We do not need to have football at 3pm on a Saturday especially if it has a negative effect on those clubs already struggling to survive.

People are so entitled and greedy these days with the whole me me me attitude without looking at the bigger picture and going, you know what, it's not a major issue not seeing 3pm games ,especially if allows those smaller local clube to continue to survive and even thrive.

What we really need is a better cost ratio and lower player wages, and better deals for fans, instead this just driving things the other way.

J-lo must be getting sacked tomorrow but got to feel for his luck

Against the run of play again Leicester score. 20 shots in the first half nothing went in

Finally score disallowed for a "foul" on the keeper who simply fell into the attacker and missed the punch

I wonder if the board will panic tonight after this

Expected goals don't save jobs

Of course it's no surprise who is for this sort of thing.

If the 3pm blackout is removed we won't need to move so many games. Lunch time kick offs might not be needed for example

Listened to most of it and heard especially Stelling very passionate argument against removing it and agree with him and what you have said

What a ridiculous game

Smash and grab comes to mind, all 3 goals against the run of play from our 31 shots lol but our midfield is too lightweight , easy to bypass

Least we scored and fulkerg gets off his scoring career for us..good to see him back

The occasional fan will make an event of the day. Spend money in the club shop, buy food and drink in the ground. The season ticket holder doesn't do that every game. The likes of Man Utd and Liverpool make a serious amount of money from these occasional and one off fans. They got wise to this as a money maker some time ago. You can't blame them, they are businesses.
Football clubs hate fans like me, I'll pay for my season ticket and that's all they're getting as they've mugged me off enough with the crazy price. But, get a tourist in who'll do £200 in the club shop and £100 on food and drink, and then replace him with a different one next week, they can't get enough of that type of fan.

Let's see how many of them there are when we get relegated or if they'll be begging me to keep coming.

I agree with this.

I have an issue with the concept of a season ticket in this day and age for top flight clubs. It seems intrinsically unfair that the majority of tickets are offered to the same people year after year, making it inaccessible to most fans unless you are prepared to pay well in excess of the face value.

I've done the hard miles of following Wolves when we played the likes of Plymouth, Rotherham and Crewe every week, I'll take first refusal at tickets now that we're playing bigger teams and the ones who didnt fancy it can get what they're given.

Can honestly say apart from the programme, and not even them lately I've never bought a single thing at a football ground apart from the ticket.

I've done a shirt or a training top when we've had deals on and before they started treating us like mugs. Last few seasons there's definitely been a shift towards us being cash cows and I'm not participating.

How do you justify it being sung to Everton fans?

Dunno….I think it’s a bit silly really.

And if I was an Everton fan and heard rival fans singing it at a game I’d probably shrug my shoulders and think “Meh”. I genuinely wouldn’t be so precious that I’d let it bother me but might join in with singing something back in their direction. Then I’d forget it and just watch the game.

I just genuinely wouldn’t categorise it anywhere near the same level as chanting racist, homophobic or tragedy stuff.

I don’t know what made me think we could win a match against the team with the worst form in the premier league?

I thought we had the players to beat them even with him playing Soucek and Alvarez in midfield, AWB at LB and Kudus on the LW, and Ings as the lone striker 🤪
Why were Paqueta , Emerson and Summerville dropped , who were in the team that beat Newcastle?

I really do not understand how this guy has ever got a job in football.
