That's no excuse though. Just chip the ball into the midfield a few times, that will reduce the number of players pressing. It's either plain stubbornness or a lack of nous to keep repeating the same mistakes over and over. No sympathy for managers or teams who keep getting caught like this.

Ok so the first goal was a foul on paquata

First pen was soft

Second pen the attacker was fouling killman (pushing on his shoulders) when fabianski "fouled' him for him getting in the way of a clearance

Not to mention the least 2 times it went out off an arsenal player and a goal kick was awarded (radio even said nothing more annoying than when the ref is 10 yards gets it wrong and var can't even correct that)

Yeah Taylor was so on our side 🤣

Arteta has claimed Klopp's crown as the most detestable manager in the league. Coupled with their players dark arts and their annoying fans I think the impossible has happened… I’m sticking up for Liverpool 🤢
 
Doesn't look like Zirkzee was bought for scoring goals....(I got to the word brought, then he scored) haha.

I was then going on to say Zirkzee looks rubbish at pressing as well, been quite stationary.

Thank God Utd didn't buy Branthwaite, if he is capable of mistakes like that for Utd's 2nd. More sluggish than Maguire

Branthwaits has been out for most of the season and is lacking fitness and we are lacking confidence, i mean no offence it shows how crap we are that Zirkzee scores, I suppose we have to hear about the second coming of Man Utd now
 
If ever anyone wanted to see the difference that confidence gives to a team, either way, then watch this game. Liverpool are buzzing, City look half the team they were
 
I don’t think I have ever seen a Pep side be so lethargic, about 2 yards off the pace and looking like they are lacking ideas - we should be 3 or 4 up here and I hope it doesn’t come back to bite us

But what’s going on with City - surely losing 1 players hasn’t effected them that much
 
Something isn’t right with City - that felt easy for most of the time , only real chance they had was after a mistake

Pep reacting strangely as well , there seemed to be very little creativity - no spark at all
