Fantastic first half for the neutral tho

2 very very soft pens. Though.

If ref wants to keep this up Bowen take note and go down every time your touched.

So a keeper isn't allowed to punch for the ball now ....
I don’t think he actually makes much contact.
His head dosnt move at all.
He hasn’t come out for second half ?.

But once he gave it they were not changing their mind.

Totally agree with Rednapp Antonio is not good enough to mark Gabriel.

Put Antonio on the half way line and one of the CBs will have to stay with him.

Antonio isn't good enough to play professional football

Fuming he wasn't pulled at half time and takes off Summervile who was a bright spark (lovely offside goal)

Never a pen.

Even more frustrating in the second half is bringing on ings. Start him! In his brief appearances he shows more than Antonio has got a while

Antonio is a real handful but hit and miss. He's also too old to play that role on a regular basis. Ings is totally washed up as a player though, you desperately need a striker.

One minute in to the Copa Libertadores final and we have a red card!!

The favourites Botafogo are down to ten men.

The touchline histrionics are something way in excess of any thing Arteta or Klopp ever could hope to achieve. :D

No VAR intervening from what I can see.

Yeah, fulkergs injury has been terrible for the lad and the club

Antonio is a busted flush
One goal all season. Against Ipswich

Ings would be better tbh. Not ideal but for now I'd play him

Failing that kudos up top tbh. More than a handful

No...they do have VAR...just didnt use it for the red card....mind you, was such an x-rated challenge that even the worst VAR wouldnt take more than 5 seconds to confirm the on-field decision.

VAR review delivers a penalty and ten man Botafogo are now 2-0 up having seen maybe just 25% possession of the ball.

Just catching up with MOTD.

Blimey, Wolves signed their own death warrant didn’t they?! Several times!

But, Kluivert getting a hat-trick purely from penalties - first time I think I’ve seen that happen! Does anyone know if that’s happened many times in the past?!

EDIT: The BBC match report has answered my question.

“Not only was it the first hat-trick of penalties in the Premier League era, but also the first in the English top flight since Ken Barnes scored three for Manchester City in a 6-2 victory against Everton at Maine Road on 7 December, 1957.”

The Bournemouth press was unreal though, never gave them a second to settle and play out from the back.
