Fantastic preformance from Liverpool.
Pity the finishing wasn’t better we should have mullered them.

Defence looks solid ,City just look miles off last year.

What a dirty little so and so Bernado is, noticed a few times when there losing.!

Well @Bazz looking forward to the game on Wednesday? 🫣 . I'm not sure who is more depressed about football at the moment but at least you scored at the weekend. If you could ask your defenders and keeper to give us a few freebies, as is your way this season, that would be very much appreciated :ROFLMAO:. DCL will still miss them but maybe one will fall to a player who can actually finish.

We're absolutely the team you want to play when you're struggling.
The only way we look like winning is by scoring 4, because that defence has broken up for Christmas already.

I think both managers can use the meet up to chat about sharing the costs of a villa in Barbados over Christmas, because I can see both of them having lots of spare time by then.

So we've got Man City away on Wednesday night and I honestly can't decide if this is a good time to play them or not!

I mean I know they're in the worst run of form they've had for many years, so on the one hand they're there for the taking.

On the other, that run has to end at some point and I've been watching Forest for enough years to know we can often be Charity FC in situations like this!

So I literally have no idea what to expect! :ROFLMAO:

Just seen the fixture run you've got in December.....ouch!

Well, I'm guessing a bad time to play them would have been after they had just won 6 games in a row, battering their opponents in the process

I can’t see them getting anything if they approach the game the same way they did yesterday

even basic movement , pressing , little 5 yard passes etc were missing

There seemed to have very little desire during the game , very little energy and pace

Something isn’t right

Are you thinking something has gone on behind the scenes?

Or is it just good old fashioned bad form and lack of self-belief/confidence as a result?

My conspiracy theory is that Pep wanted to leave, but the owners of Man City threatened him and forced him into signing a new contract. He is now under extreme stress, and his only way out is for his side to collapse and have no choice but to bring another manager in.

I agree, it is far fetched and don't really believe it for a second. A more believable scenario is that they've completely collapsed in style of play and confidence since losing one player, Rodri. But, it is fun to dream up a crime caper every now and then

I fear we are in for a good kicking. But fingers crossed, and hoping that we get something out of it. (After all, a win means we even go above them :):) )
