Spurs really taking spursy to a new level

I had a feeling we would win, same as we did with Chelsea and Brighton. Let them have the ball . They do nothing with it (or little) pick them off on the counter

But my god I didn't expect spurs to make such a pigs ear of it and gift us the goals
 
United being slaughtered in the media for most of the season due to their very poor performances.
Many questioning whether EtH will be in charge for much longer.

I don't see/hear any of them calling out Eddie Howe.
United currently above them in the table.
Has the manager lost the dressing room? ;)

About to say the same. I think 50% of the Newcastle and Spurs dressing rooms don't back their manager :)

There’s little doubt we have been awful, getting results against teams in the bottom half whilst playing dross and being found out against anyone half decent.

My hope is that Ten Hag has, at long last, lost patience with those who don’t pull their weight. Hojlund may be get to score a Premier League goal but he is worth ten of Rashford - he gives his all every game, and yet again last night was fractions away from bagging a couple. The goals will come for him, I’m sure.

The United starting XI against Bournemouth this Saturday will give us a huge clue. Barring injuries, last night’s starting lineup should be the team which lines up at 3pm on Saturday. Rashford should be made to work his socks off to get back in that side - it should not be a case of him being dropped for a single game to give him a boot up the backside, as he has been miles off the pace for months.

In other news, I hear that United are in talks with Paulo Maldini with a view to bringing him in as a sporting/football director. I could certainly think of a worse way for Jim Ratcliffe to introduce himself to the club than bringing in a man of his stature to work with Ten Hag.

Maldini might end up being our 6th choice centre back, and after a month regular starter
 
Tonight was our works Christmas night out. No need to check for a game, when does the PL have a game on a Thursday 🙄

Had to sneakily check my phone every so often 😆.

Fabulous result, we haven't been great against Newcastle in recent years. Even Beto scored 😳. Hopefully a turning point for him.

Big difference in how the two teams have been playing though, the size of both squads. Newcastle have been playing some great football, players have been giving everything. I believe they had 11 players missing injured tonight, that's massive. Some players need a break, they can't get one. They ate looking tired at times. Fans know they are giving everything though.

Can you say as a utd fan that the players are giving everything, that you can see a style of play, that you are enjoying the style of play? This is why Howe isn't getting hammered, why ETH has had criticism.

Different fans aswell. Newcastle very supportive. Man united very demanding due to their success over 20 years.

Didn't his 7 year contract only ended about a year ago?

Been 4 years now aswell of good team results

20/21 finished 6th
21/22 finished 7th whilst semi final of Europa
22/23 finished 14th but won conference league
Now 23/24 , top of the group and 9th in league

Some good football over those years especially the first 2 seasons and more dogmatic past 2 seasons

.this is why I had him as first manager to be sacked

The board don't have patience and soon as it gets bad the fans will pressure aswell

Moyes is lucky when our fans call for him our board is too cheap to change lol 😆

In fairness Maddison is a massive miss
