I've done it for kids football. Daylight sounds a nightmare to me. When I did it, I just looked for anything clearly ahead of where they should be. Nothing marginal, it had to be clear (it was kids football after all). Trying to see a different coloured kit plus daylightI've no experience running the line, but it just feels like it would be tougher to judge the daylight scenario in the heat of the moment that simply seeing any part of the attacker in an offside position.
