Seriously? He was already head to head and lent in to him, there’s no way that is a headbutt.

The players running and diving in was way more of a red card imo.
I would agree it was a rubbish attempt but he tried to push his head into his opponent’s face.
Thats a headbutt.
Simulation is only meant to be a booking but seems that’s another rule that gets ignored now

The same Arsenal that have dropped points to Bournemouth, Wolves and Brentford in recent weeks
I haven't got a horse in the race in just stating my opinion, I would rather have arsenal's run in than city's,and arsenal are 3 points in front ,ok game in hand but I would take points on the board over game in hand every day of the week

Man City know how to grind out the wins at the end of the season

Arsenal have shown over the years that they can’t handle the pressure

It would of been a very soft red card for me.

I totally believe the biggest issue with Officials is inconsistencey, but that doesn’t mean every decision is just about wrong.

Average position of Citys run in is 12th, Arsenals is 9th. At this moment the title is very tight margins. And Gabriel not getting sent off is massive.

I agree it would have been soft.
I think it should have been though as he pushed his head forward
Happy to agree to disagree though.
The likely outcome is they both get the same as that seems the most common decision.
The inconsistency is awful and I think refs are not willing to make a decision now instead relying on VAR.

“Arsenal have been top of Premier League for 197 days this season but Manchester City will overtake them if they beat Burnley on Wednesday. By then, Arsenal will have been top for 973 days since last title in 2004. City have been top for 1200 days since then and won eight titles”
