Shame you can’t take him back, he’s garbage.
Another quality scouted signing
Really? I thought he did well in the end - 3 goals 3 assists. Only problem for him now is that he's very much a wing back and we won't be playing wing backs anymore. Not sure he defends well enough for right back so he might have to be back-up right winger behind Kulusevski.

Rice is about to sit atop of this list....

not soon enough. its taking far too long for my liking.. too many of our fans are stuck in the anger or denial stage of grief. move onto acceptance. he is off. thanks for the service.. we rebuild

Apologies. I Googled "Burnley FC" and then read the Top Stories section, and my eye caught an article related to Zack Steffen. Opened up with "Burnley have contacted representatives of Zack Steffen after Manchester City told the goalkeeper is allowed to leave"

I didn't realise they were in for another Man City goalkeeper, James Trafford.

I guess with Vincent Kompany as manager, Burnely are looking to see if Man City will give them loads of hand me downs. And Man City are playing them along, saying sure we will, then managing to get a decent amount of money for them.
The Steffen link is from 12 months ago when Vinny was in charge of a complete rebuild of the Burnley side following relegation, me and the majority of Clarets have complete faith in what he is doing here and the amazing job he did last season, I know many of you will be unaware of it as it was outside The Premier League.

We were talking about Aluko a while ago and now I've just seen this.

Confirms what I thought about her to be honest. How insecure and defensive. Need to have a thicker skin if you're going to spout nonsense on the telly/radio.

This from the pundit who claimed rio, Frank lampard and Joe cole were one club pros

Erm j cole has league wins in two different countries for one

I watched his first game on the telly when he took over. I think Burnley got beat. But the transformation from Dyche to Vinny was astonishing. I think they will do more than ok this season.

Forest Green have just made their Academy coach the caretaker manager after Big Dunc left.
So what, you may think? She is the first female to take charge of a football league team. I hope FGR make her full time and it opens doors for more women to climb the managerial ladder.

Really good to see and I hope she proves herself worthy of the job and is successful

Would have hoped if they thought she was the best person for the job that they gave it to her permanently from the start

The first game was televised, the Friday night season opener away at Huddersfield, I remember everybody aghast at the Burnley team playing the ball around and keeping possession, so different from the previous 10 years we had become accustomed to, we won 1-0. The first defeat was the third game away at Watford, I also think that was televised.
It was great to watch the team evolve, build in confidence and mould into what it became and without arrogance won a very difficult league at a canter, Vinny started playing a lot of fringe players with about five or six games to go.

Just waiting for Sol Campbell to pop up and ask why she got the opportunity ahead of a black man now.

Oh how times have changed. Taken from the "On This Day in History" page of the nufc.com independent website...

1995 Winger David Ginola joined Newcastle from PSG for £2.5m, as the club's close season spending moved to £12.5m, following the earlier acquisitions of striker Les Ferdinand from QPR (£6m) and defender Warren Barton from Wimbledon. (£4m).

3 players...just 12.5 million....you cant get an experienced club tea-lady for that money these days.
