On another note, I'm seen De Gea has left Manchester United.
Can only assume they have the Inter keeper tied up.
I certainly hope a deal is agreed, otherwise the price has just gone up!
Sorry to see De Gea leaving the club in the manner reported, but I do think it’s the right decision. The manager wants a keeper who can effectively play as a sweeper, and De Gea is patently not that sort of player.
A great servant of the club over many years, who has kept us in games single handedly any number of times. But as the game has changed De Gea has not adapted, so his departure has been inevitable.
