Well, things seem to have gone downhill since Martinez and Varane got injured. Especially Martinez, a player very comfortable on ball and seems to have a good instinct on what ball to play, and when, to start an attack.

Utd's attack are far too reliant on Rashford, a player who will certainly not give you top performances every week. Antony at least tries to get involved, but isn't clinical. Sancho still scared of his own shadow, Martial massively unreliable, Eriksen doesn't look like scoring, let alone Weghorst who may be the worst goalscoring "striker" I have ever seen.

Was good to see Garnacho on the bench. Perhaps the only positive thing to come out of the match.

Just look up his management career and that will answer that one
Would also look at the England manager and see how inflexible he is - not a chance he would even attempt to try why Pep or Klopp are doing with Stones and TAA , it involves tactical thinking outside the box.

And thankfully TAA won’t be anywhere near the England team whilst Southgate is there

I said at the time of the Martinez injury that it would have a massive bearing on the remainder of United’s season, and that was before we even knew that Varane would also be ruled out. Losing one first choice centre half is bad - losing both is a nightmare.

Eriksen looks as though he has been rushed back and, for all of the positives regarding Rashford’s reemergence this season, he can still be enormously frustrating to watch. His decision making at crucial times is still beyond awful.

Since January we have been miles off the pace. Our away form on its own has been such that, frankly, I’m not sure we deserve top four. It’s only still in our hands because, despite what their fans appear to believe, Liverpool have been even worse.

A good season is in real danger of fizzling out. I think most United fans have always accepted that work is still required. The last few weeks has clearly underlined that.

Thankfully, three of our four remaining league fixtures are at home.

I’m clinging to the fact that, after that Brighton defeat way back, our home form in the league has been solid. But we need nine points from those games.

Well that was a brilliant performance by the whole team and thoroughly deserved in the face of what seemed some pretty dire refereeing.

Special mention for Kehrer who I thought was a rock today.

Hopefully enough left in the tank to go again Thursday 🤞🏻

Had my scouse bil up for the weekend we watched the Liverpool v Brentford game, he complained about ref in the Spurs game being biased against Liverpool and didn’t change his mind when I pointed out the ref actually helped them by not sending off Joto.

Again today he complained the ref had it in for Liverpool, he also mentioned why Man United get away with so many decisions.

It’s strange sitting listening to so much delusion and nothing can change his opinion, I won’t bother mentioning what he said about the booing today.

The same ref that’s given Spurs a helping hand as well in a few games including not sending off Skipp 🤔

It’s very well documented Tierneys mistakes in over the last couple of years

I’m not arguing with you about refs it gets a bit pointless, I was just trying to emphasize the mentality of scousers they are a different breed to the rest of us 😂

Nothing beats a bit of stereotyping does it.

They are no different to any football fan

Well that’s not my experience having spent the weekend with my bil, I’ve never heard any other football fan be so biased as him.

His comments about Man United are completely irrational.

I must add he’s great company.

Have you ever met many scousers and had a conversations about football with them.

He’s not wrong.

There is something different about people who support teams that play in red from the wrong side of the Pennines.

You’re not wrong. My mate is a mad L’pool fan. Pointless talking football with him as he’s never wrong. Lived in Manchester for a good while. Utd fans were, in the main, rabid when triggered but City fans were just normal guys.
