Big mistake by Maguire, but also frustrating De Gea played the pass. He must have seen Maguire was surrounded, not a good ball to play, even if Maguire had Messi type control. Which he definitely does not

The stats do not include missed fouls and those that are not given, for both sides. To analyse the game just on stats would be incredibly foolish.

There is no doubt the better team won and went through, anyone suggesting otherwise obviously never watched the game.

Two of the yellows City got were for time wasting (keeper) and Gundoghan retaliating. None were tactical fouling. Don’t get me wrong City are the masters of the dark arts. Playing in the last 8 of the champs league, unfortunately you have to be. But last night I don’t think was one of them.
