As good a servant as De Gea has been for United, in the context of modern ‘keepers I really think his time is up.

He has been a key player in all three Sevilla goals this evening. Awful with the ball at his feet, a lot of our woes start with his distribution.

I’m not sure he’ll be a United player next season. I suspect ETH will be fuming with his display this evening.

I know DeGea has had many good games, but this match could probably still be 0-0 if De Gea wasn't in goal toni

The performance against Liverpool was bad. But this has been worse. Not a single positive to be taken from that showing.

The simple fact is that, if key players are missing, the squad still lacks depth in key positions. Lindelöf and Maguire as a central defensive pairing are dreadful. Weghorst, for all his endeavour, is not at the level required. Sancho and Antony still flattering to deceive.

Over the course of the season there have been many positives. But far too many calamitous performances when it’s mattered.
