Happened almost by accident....we had a man sent off in a home game against Norwich back in late 2021 and Joelinton dropped back into midfield and has pretty much been there ever since.
He was always a very good player...just not a striker....also the high intensity style preferred by Howe allowed his natural physical attributes to be exploited more than the turgid nonsense we played under Steve Bruce.
