Has the Arsenal set piece coach been given the night off 🤷‍♂️
I thought they were still much more dangerous when they had a corner than most other teams. I remember the Newcastle keeper completely flapping at one corner, creating panic. And a few other times Arsenal players had a chance but headed over.

I wouldn't expect every corner to be taken with perfection, or Arsenal to score every game from one. But, it still looks like a huge weapon. However, with Saka out, is it a weapon that Arsenal will become overly reliant on. I don't know the stats so my perception might be wrong, but they seem to be struggling to score in open play, relative to a team wanting to have a title challenge.

They have had the same problem for a number of years, the lack of a genuine number 9. Jesus was never that player, so he has proved, Havertz fills in but is not that player and doesn't claim to be. Until they fix that, they will not make the next step. I don't have sympathy with them, they have known about it for long enough.

Looks like Graham Potter has the West Ham job, great appointment in my opinion, think he’ll get them into the top 10.

Great appointment if he comes. Wanted him in the summer

Only thing that worries me is he needs to work with a system like he did Brighton not Sullivan's right I'm in charge of transfers football manager style

You would expect that he would be having that discussion now, before signing anything. He is not in a rush to start work, Chelsea are probably still paying his wages until he starts a new job. If he doesn't get the assurances he wants, he will wait until the next offer comes along. He won't struggle for a job (come north Graham, come north.....)

I'm hearing he wants funds for a striker and a midfielder

Striker meh, but midfielder I fully agree. We never have replaced rice. Without that cover to the defence it's no wonder we have spent well on the defence and still let in

At least we won't have to see that ridiculous high line and AWB (best one on one defender in the league) pushed so far up front he's playing in Bowen's position

Chelsea wage has finished, apparently West Ham initially offered him 6 month Contract and renegotiate in the summer.😱

That's two times now that Lopetagui has hung about waiting for the club to find a replacement before leaving. Like letting your wife choose a new husband before packing your stuff.

I felt sorry for him tbh, it’s a shame he couldn’t cut the mustard but I wish him good luck (which is more than I wished Moyes 😁)

Potter Out. 🤪

I know you lot were bored to tears by Moyes but if we had a manager win us a European trophy, I'd have his statue outside my house by the end of the night.

I’ll always be grateful for that and if he had bowed out after I think my memory would have been a little more rose tinted. It isn’t until he is manager of your team that you realise the importance of being entertained and defending the point at home to bottom 3 teams is unbearable. Moyes (and Allardyce) look good from the outside, but when you have to suffer the dross week in week out it wears you down.

I had a mate like that. Was engaged to a girl, who lived with him in his house for a while. She called off the engagement, but continued to live in his house, and he let her (being the nice guy). Within a few months, she found a new fella, and he moved into the house as well. They then got engaged, married and then moved out to a new place.

Bit awkward that
