After expressing your ridiculous opinion on Ugarte (in my opinion), I'm not sure I've really made a point in mentioning him in here from game to game after good performances? This might be the first time, and I was only doing so in response to your desire to rate the Man Utd players potential futures after yesterdays game.

Are you seriously criticsing my opinion that a player COULD be our best signing in years after a few games, yet you are happy to write a player off completely after one appearance? Do you have a straight face, because I don't after reading that :)

Remind me, what is your reaction when people are critical of TAA?

The same TAA that’s been key to winning the biggest trophies in club football ? That TAA you mean

Think maybe you need to take a little step back and read what I said again

But to help

“If you think a player has been “best signing in years” or “excellent” etc etc then away you go - I’m sure we will all find out over the next season as opposed to a couple of games”

Not sure what’s your issue with that

I’m sure we will all find out at the end of the season how well the players have fared

Yes, that TAA. The same one who has played several seasons now, and many have concluded he is a poor defender. That one. The same people never claimed he was a poor passer of the ball, or that he played in a bad side of players.

Maybe it is you that will need to read what other people said, before reacting?

Also, re-read what I said. I never said Mazaroui WAS the best signing Utd have made in years. I said he looks like he COULD be ONE of our best signings in years. Surely that is a completely reasonable statement to make, given it is simply only based on the first half of this season?

Don't worry, Everton will bring them back down to earth at the weekend 🫣 🤭 :ROFLMAO: .

I agree though, currently the strongest challengers.

I saw the first half of their game and Southampton just collapsed. They were embarrassing. They play pretty football but Martin refused to adapt and that was taking them down without a fight. I'm sure there would be a stat out there identifying how many goals they have 'given' the opposition, it must league leading. He can't complain, he's walked into this.

Hoping to do a Kompany, get a club relegated by sticking to your principles and then getting a top top job.

And people can have those conclusions about TAA 🤷‍♂️ I’m sure the trophies he keeps winning maybe show something different

Again if you think a player could be or is the best signing in years then I’m sure it will shown either way at the end of the season 🤷‍♂️

Maybe the standards have lowered a little

You really do need to understand that people will be critical of Man Utd and their players - because

For years they dominated English football and lorded it over everyone - Man Utd fans weren’t shy in letting everyone know about their success

And now they are poor and have been for a good number of years and people will enjoy watching them fail season after season , wasting money season after season , a revolving in door of managers - the “we are back” , “oles at the wheel” etc etc etc

Thats part and parcel of being a fan of a big club

What helps Chelsea at the moment is the ability to field a totally different team in Europe - it’s helping keeping their key players fresh at the moment

on a good run and he has got Caicedo playing very well - decent run of games coming for them as well

The squad is huge but he has them ticking. Slip players in, players left out are not being missed. That is the perfect situation.

Considering what a dysfunctional club it has been, fair play.

One thing I think this season is showing is that things can turn around very quickly. I dont think many expected to see Liverpool where they are, Chelsea have improved massively since last year and not much left to say about City's change in form.

If Leicester can find a way to win the league, anything can happen.

Yeah he has done well , come in with little pressure and gelling a very young good team together . Will be interesting to see how it develops when the pressure starts - that’s the same with Slot as well

He's even got Jackson firing well, fit in into the team well

Got them playing as a unit

A lot of the work was done by MP but he has built on it

No problem. But, please remember the little saying about pots and kettles.

I'm simply defending 2/3 Man Utd players you have seemingly been critical of, and I don't agree. You say people can have those conclusions about TAA, yet when they do you will vigorously disagree with long responses. But, if I give my opinion on Man Utd players, you are saying I should wait until end of the season? Or stay silent? Whereas you are able to write players careers off after one game for another side?

I'm sure Poch is feeling a bit miffed. He got Chelsea working by the end of the season but didn't get to see the benefits. Now he doesn't get a mention. Life as a football manger........

Again defend away 🤷‍♂️ no one says you can’t defend players or give any opinion

You just appear to have an issue with people being critical about Man Utd players

Ultimately the results will show which players have worked out or not

Yes I will defend TAA because he has proven himself on the football pitch over the years

If the likes of Urgate , De Ligt etc get Man Utd back challenging again then they will have proved me wrong

What is wrong with saying that certain players aren’t suited to the Prem 🤷‍♂️ - there is more than enough history showing that not everyone suits the premier league

There is a reason why De Ligt has been bounced around clubs for the past 3 seasons

There is a reason why Urgate was out of PSG after one season

Either both players will prove me wrong or at the end of the season they will both be gone from another club - the evidence over the last 10 years has shown that there is very much a chance that the wrong players are bought

I've said what I have to say. No point in replying to a post that has repeated what you have already said countless times.

We'll see how the discussion goes next time someone is critical of Darwin Nunez or any other Liverpool player. At least most of us have had a few seasons to form our opinion on those players.

People can say what they want about Neville and Carragher, whether you like them or not at least they show passion, albeit through tinted glasses every now and then.

Mike Dean on the other hand should be nowhere near tv. He’s abysmal on Soccer Saturday. A turnip has more charisma.

Mike Dean is bad

Gallagher is just as bad in ref watch

At least he agreed the Robbo red card was wrong - wonder if they will appeal the red card

Looking at the decisions in our match it looks like he was way out of his depth

Long way to go and lots of twists yet

Chelsea at the moment are able to get passed any injury issues but they will need to keep Caicedo and Palmer fit

Liverpool , City and Arsenal have had a few injuries to deal with and the next 4 weeks will be key with cup games and the Xmas period
