I'm guessing Potter is getting paid from Chelsea until he starts his next job. No rush there then. He seems happy to bide his time and I am not sure Wolves is on his radar right now, sorry Wolves. Moyes would not be the worst shout, even if only put on an 18 month deal.

Claiming the Premier League/FA/PGMOL are all against poor little Nottingham Forest. Every club has had and will continue to have bad decisons going against them. You are not alone.

Your team is flying high, playing some nice football, just enjoy it, embrace it, shout ot from the roof tops instead of whining and whinging about the referees and the PL.

Lets not forget, it was your owner and Social Media team that accused referees of cheating. That is unforgivable to publicly question the integrity of offficials and should not be tolerated.
Correct - but the punishments are not consistent and referees are not held accountable when they get stuff plainly wrong. I won't apologise for that.

I wasn't expecting us to get much this weekend as it'll be a tough tough game - so anything we get will be a bonus; so I'll continue to enjoy the ride whilst it lasts (pretty safe in the knowledge we aren't going down this season).

But honestly, Anthony Taylor is definitely not fit to referee in the premier league, whether it be a Forest game or otherwise - almost certain I'm not alone in that opinion.

Isn’t the issue with Forest “punishments” down to the number of charges they have had. The owner himself has been charged twice ? The club 4 times in last 2 years

Don’t think any other club has had that many issues in a short period and even more so don’t recall many clubs accusing the referees of cheating

And then when the club itself is throwing accusations about - that’s not going to go down well

Yes the referees make mistakes - blimey every club has been on the end of some stinkers and refs have been held accountable by some being dropped etc

A referee is human at the end of the day - they are going to make mistakes , just like players , coaches etc

Accusing them of cheating - not going to go down well especially when there is no evidence to back it up

Thing is if j-lo is in any trouble for us then I want us to go all out for potter before he is snapped up. He is the one I've wanted for years.

That said I want to see j-lo given time.

Apparently he’s still on £200k pw.
No wonder he’s in no rush to get another job 😂

Other clubs have made suggestions about bias.

Are Wolves expecting a fine for these comments by Gary O’Neil?

He has been “contacted”. Whats the latest on this? Anyone know?

It’s a little different than coming out and accusing someone of cheating

“There's no chance people are purposely against Wolves, let's be clear. But is there something in the subconscious around the decision making - without even knowing it are you more likely to give it to Man City than Wolves?”

The language is massively different

The least you would hope is each game and ref is analysed and any clear bias would be easy to spot

Accuse referees of bias, but use clever language and it’s ok. 👍

That’s the key - many have done it in the past . Put the seed of doubt , provide the evidence and get people talking - out right accusations without clear evidence won’t go down well

It’s very very hard to prove a referee is cheating against a specific club

Forest can keep battling against them the fines at the end of the day are a drop in the ocean but they will need both other clubs to jump in and all get some facts. We have heard audio from them and heard them being poor - but that’s a world away from deliberately cheating

Imagine being that bad at your job that some people genuinely believe you're doing it on purpose though.

Most of the referees are fine. Not great, but fine. There are a couple who are top drawer.

With regards to being held accountable and being dropped with bad performances - if I dropped as many clangers at work as Anthony Taylor and Stuart Attwell have done I'd be fired by now. They're usually punished by being put on VAR instead, which isn't punishment at all - just means that they cause issues from miles away instead haha.

Exactly this.

It’s all very well saying “referees are human and sometimes they make mistakes”. That’s fine - if it was indeed just “sometimes”.

Trouble is we’ve seen the same few people make massive clangers time and time again, with zero consequences.

Someone said on here a few days ago, the best refs are the ones whose name you don’t know. Thats absolutely spot on. Anthony Taylor and Stuart Attwell are famously awful at their job.

You won’t get many people disagreeing that those two aren’t poor refs - would also add Coote to that mix

But that doesn’t mean they are cheating which was the accusation

Being incompetent at your job is not cheating - just being poor

If the mistakes are deemed to be that bad and that often then they will face the sack and removed from the UEFA and FIFA list

But it’s always worth remembering a lot of the “decisions” that fans complain about 9/10 are subjective and down to opinions and interpretation of the rules

Taylor has been demoted and lost a prem game when they have mistakes - that affects them financially - so there is consequences

Why's he bought back the next week though? Only to adversely affect whatever game he's officiating yet again. Bin them off to the Championship permanently if they're *that* bad.

Anyway - let's get back to talking about how Forest are definitely winning the league.

We can start moaning about Taylor again when he inevitably causes controversy on Sunday 🙃

How long should they be demoted for ?

What happens when a player makes a mistake ? Drop them for weeks ?

The refs know they are assessed - if they don’t follow the laws they will face consequences

Taylor refereed Forest v Newcastle last season.

Here is what the popular Toon website NUFC.COM had to say about him after last years match (3-2 to the Toon)

Taylor's display bordered on the absurd at times; purposely allowing blatant fouls to go unchecked and turned the blindest of eyes to the continual thuggery of Ryan Yates, who would have been lucky to stay on the field under some officials but here barely conceded a free kick, never mind seeing a card of any colour.

Seems like we don't like him either!!:D

That’s up to the manager 🤷‍♂️
They make too many mistakes they tend to get moved on.

Surely he couldn’t have favoured a Forest player 😲

That’s a dilemma for him 😂
