Don't get me wrong. I'm not referring to anybody as obsessed who comments or has an opinion on it.
I think it is clear that some, or one, just seem to spend an incredible amount of time posting opinions about a club they do not even support.
I suppose it was the same in the 90's, when many enjoyed Liverpool's fall from grace after their success in the 80's. One difference for me, at least from my experiences, is that throughout the 90's at 00's I'd still hear many many Liverpool fans still scream that Liverpool are the best club in the world, and quote trophy counts to try and prove a point. Despite clearly being poor at that time. Whereas now, I personally don't hear many Utd fans shouting how wonderful Utd are as a club, and still the best club in the world. I pretty much hear Utd fans slate Man Utd as being awful, terrible players with a bad attitude, evil owners, etc.

My opinion, which is from one that casts a casual glance as to what is happening at Old Trafford (that's the truth), is that ETH has been woeful and seemingly bereft of ideas and a plan. That's been played out on the pitch and in post-match interviews. He stayed well beyond his sell-by date but maybe there were no other options.
I think Gareth would do a great job at steadying the ship. Certainly better than what ETH has been providing. It won't be scintillating or exciting but there's a good chance he'll get those players who have any sense of professional pride at the very least trying their best for him, and by association the fans, which is a huge part of what they want to see.
Steady, build some sense of pride and keep an eye out for a manager with more to offer...

Yep - it’s a shame when these come up that most look at the attacking flair players as whilst they are key there is also others that are just as key
When we won the CL - Mo gets the plaudits where as VVD was out of this world and imo should have won in 2019 - as opposed to the lazy Messi vote

Chelsea and Nottingham Forest have both been fined for their part in the "mass confrontation" that occurred between their players in their game on Sunday 6th October.
It was an incident descibed as "handbags" by most onlookers.
No Nottingham Forest players threw any punches or attempted to slap any Chelsea players.
One Chelsea player attempted to slap a Nottingham Forest player.
You are all allowed one guess as to which club got a fine that was over three times larger than the other club's.

Apparently because they refused to admit any blame - which is a bit silly if so - BUT I notice Jackson hasn't admitted slapping Morato and still hasn't been fined for it.
Still seems a bit ridiculous that the punishment was THREE times that of Chelsea (who instigated the whole thing). If you're going to fine the teams for confrontation, you HAVE to fine the ONLY player who actually raised hands and slapped an opponent.

The Regulatory Commission considered previous sanctions imposed on Chelsea FC with regard to breaches of Rule E20 which are detailed as follows:
(1) The club was fined £22,500.00 for an incident that occurred in a Premier League fixture v Leicester City FC on 18 May 2021;
(2) The club was also fined £25,000.00 for an incident that occurred in a Premier League fixture v Liverpool FC on 28 August 2021.
Forest...
(1) The club was fined £10,000.00 for an incident that occurred in an EFL Championship fixture v Derby County FC on 22 January 2022;
(2) The club was fined £25,000.00 for an incident that occurred in a Premier League fixture v Crystal Palace FC on 12 November 2022;
(3) The club was fined £40,000.00 for an incident that occurred in an EFL Cup fixture v Wolverhampton Wanderers FC on 11 January 2023;
(4) The club was fined £55,000.00 for an incident that occurred in a Premier League fixture v Wolverhampton Wanderers on 1 April 2023; and
(5) The club was fined £75,000.00 for an incident that occurred in a Premier League fixture v Liverpool FC on 2 March 2024.
Seems that Forest struggle to learn their lessons and if you read the FA Report at the bottom of the article, sections 30 onwards, it is very obvious why the FA feel that forest deserve a bigger fine.
