watching it again i think the interaction with Silva has very minimal effect on Sa who appeared to be set when they cross came in - but if it was disallowed you could see why

The interesting thing was the flag went up I believe so the linesman thought he was interfering

the lines man simply signals that he thinks the player is offside, which he was nobody is arguing that. its up to the ref, var etc to deem if he was interfering

@Bazzatron

here is the clip. its much more clear cut than silva, your player is clearly backing into our keeper in an offside position

lol just realised it was killman aswell who scored!!!

I'm trying not to fall over walking home so will look properly later. I'm pretty sure your players were just as shocked it was disallowed.

Was that not confirmed after that it was a foul on the GK - West Ham player to the left kept him on , it was soft and it’s something to see now with forwards on the GK ( tactic Arsenal use ) - gk was also not getting near the header

Are there 🤷‍♂️ why would you be so worried about that , that’s no different to any paid pundit or commentator

They are paid to give their opinion - some of what he says I agree with some I don’t

Some will judge him based on what club he played for or past events

You’re like a dog with a bone aren’t you! 🤣🤣🤣

I thought was for impending the keeper tbh, which he is clearly here

Ref deemed it either that or a foul though

Thought both were correct decisions tbh

I would like to see the tackle before from Nunes when Guedes was running with the ball - that was potentially a worse decision and allowed City to get the ball and go up the field
It was a clean tackle, pick pocketed the ball beautifully. It wasn't shown over and over as there was simply nothing to see. I rewound it at the time, after the event, it was a good tackle.

And just like that onto the next game..I reckon this is going to be a cracker

Liverpool are clearly the form team in the league and Chelsea have been very good on the eye

Anyone here who had that goal scored against them would want it ruled off including City. Ther fatc it wasn't does not make it correct and no one would have had an issue if it had been ruled off at all.
I wanted the goal to be disallowed because I don't want City to score. But, had it been, I'd be even more delighted because in my opinion, it was a perfectly fine goal and so I'd feel lucky to have the decision I wanted.

As soon as the header was made, was the point he was in an offside position. At that point, he is nowhere near the line of the ball and keeper. Just because he impacted keeper before that is surely irrelevant. Because he wasn't offside at that point

Is Kelleher only on £10,000 a week?

He's 26 next month, and very much second fiddle to Alisson. No idea how good he is, but looked pretty solid when I saw him last year for a spell.

Assuming he is decent, you'd think he could go to any other PL club, be a regular AND get a significant pay rise. Is he just happy to be a squad keeper, or is he confident that he'll soon get his chance to be No.1 at Liverpool?
