Such a great goal to win it

For month TAA has been ripped about his defending - Walker has been shocking this tournament and his positioning has been at fault for at least 4 of the goals England once

Time for him to go and get someone in there that will use TAA to the best of his abilities

Along with the likes of Gordon , Palmer , Mainoo
😂😂😂😂😂
WOW
Walker defending poorly doesn’t somehow make Trent a good defender.
Crazy logic 😳

They are playing his tactics with his mindset

He was the one picking players that have been poor all tournament

He was the one sitting there thinking the tactics are great as they sat deep
I'll repeat myself, "Too many players didn't play well enough".
Those players would have been picked from most other managers. He can't make them play well, it's up to them.
It's typical of today's blame culture. Always someone else's fault.

You really are one eyed aren't you? Walker is 34 and had the task of dealing with the one of the quickest players in the tournament and did an amazing job. Even in that clip he closed him down and made it difficult. The issue was on the defender not getting goal side which is as basic as it gets for a defender.

If you think TAA would do any better from that point of view you are bound for the nuthouse 😅

If they players didn’t play well then why isn’t the manager making changes , he is the manager , it’s down to him to see when things aren’t working and adjust things

The same 8 players started every single game and half of them were poor in most of those games

He showed a lack of ability to change things up , to adjust the mind set and once again when coming up against strong opposition he has them setting deep allowing them to dictate the game

He is the manager - he is the one that has the ability to change it and he didn’t

Walker was out of position for both the goals conceded. Poor day for him.

Having Kane on the pitch at all was a mistake when you have the options England have in attack. I know he’s been good historically but he isn’t your best option and there is no place for sentimentality in tournament football.

Some good performances over the course of the tournament for a few lads. Manoo and Guehi have really put themselves in the frame for some big offers. Bellingham is class but needs to stay on his feet more. Luke Shaw is solid!

Spain are a much better cohesive team than England and deserved the win for me.

Amazing job ?

Where was he when Williams had all the time and space to score the first

He is there just watching and allowing Cucarella to get that ball in

Both goals came from his side

And that’s not the first time this tournament

He was poor again

Taking tonigh’s game in isolation we can point fingers all night, but the fact remains that we lost to the better team playing better football.

We could probably find mistakes/weak points for every England player that was on the pitch, and, also find positives for them.

As a team/squad, we just weren’t good enough.🥲

Their second goal was a result of pee-poor positional play in the midfield and from Shaw. Walker was left exposed and yes should have been better placed. Let's not forget Guehi was half yard behind his man too...
